Thank you so much for being direct about the pros and cons, how this thing works. My husband got me one for Christmas and neither of us know anything about them. This seems to be the best pick for me for now, since I'm just starting out. Keep up the great videos! Thank you!!

i have had fitbit flex 2 for a couple of years and just put it in a drawer. So just got it out today. I hope I can make use of it this time. I will keep you posted. Any little tricks to this would be appreciated.

I love it I got one for Christmas today and it is the most one of my favorite Christmas presents it really helps me track my steps since I played basketball softball and I dance I really like this cuz it's waterproof waterproof and that you don't have to charge it but every 5 days

Great review! Went back to an analog watch from an Apple watch. All I want is basic activity tracking. Looks like the Flex 2 will handle it!

Actually just picked this up a couple weeks ago and have been very satisfied. Just mirroring your sentiments in the video; I like the app and the social element to it. Tracking sleep and my water goal is great too, and it even recorded my sports activity in Bowling (the graph was hilarious)! I can't complain about anything and I think it's quite worth it

Why is the battery so terrible? My Mi Band last for at least 60 days with message notification & few daily alarms going off. Also just upgraded to the Mi Band 2 with OLED display, that last at least 20 days.

I still think pebble deserved better, such as being bought out by Martian, or maybe Nokia Withings. I'd have loved to see a pioneer in wearables be acquired by a pioneer in mobile. At least Pebble went into debt doing what they did best: creating great smartwatches at an affordable price.
@fibk7 жыл бұрын
Ethan Education Withings would've been perfect! Im just happy that they just didnt disappear. I think their Os is one of the good ones.
@froidesprit7 жыл бұрын
I know. The only thing that could make me buy a Fitbit is if it used the Timeline OS in a Fitbit with the Pebble branding. Sadly, even though it would legally be a Pebble watch, it would still just be a shadow of Pebble, since the hardware division wasn't acquired, only the software and intellectual property. And who says Nokia can't have two smartwatch divisions? Alphabet owns both Google Capital and GV, formerly Google Ventures. They do essentially the same thing in the eyes of people not in the industry. Pebble would have made a great sister company to Withings. If Nokia Pebble can't sustain itself, it would get folded into Withings. Easy when they're both owned by the same company.

Miband is a good alternative, but the iOS version of the app is SEVERELY lacking in features. I have a Miband 1S and the app is terrible on iOS. I'd happily pay this price if it meant the app is a lot more feature rich.

Unfortunately not. It stopped syncing in January 1st 2024. I have 4 fitbits and the inspire 3 will probably be my last one unless this comes back. I would pay so much for this. But even when you buy one, it won’t sync. And battery life has worsed.

@MrMunch-xw9fn7 жыл бұрын
dragonfistbs miband2 is not waterproof, heart rate monitor is not accurate and says in instructions to not use during exercise, also the biggest drawback is that it has a display. most people are particular about their watches. don't need a cheap one the display is better on phone anyways. the only thing it may be better at is the silent vibrate alarm may be more pronounced. but then again if you get water on it it won't do nothing. ipx 67 is Not waterproof. it is Dust and supersoaker waterproof at best. dont submerge it and wouldn't recommend even showering

better how?
@mithunsrk7 жыл бұрын
Better because 1. MI shows notifications, count steps and track ur sleep just like this one does. Also both lack GPS 2. Mi has Heart rate monitor while this doesn't. 3. Mi claims a battery life of upto 30 days while it lasts around 35-38 days. But this crap needs charging every 5 days. The application is refined as well. The price is roughly around INR 1000 while this costs INR 9500 Don't u think mi is a much sweeter deal?

Pebble was going under without them anyway. Most of the $40mil they paid went towards paying Pebbles debts
@alchemicrb7 жыл бұрын
***** I know, I've companies come back from worst. If they want to bail, fine, but to tell us the current watches may start to lose functionality, that's whats annoying. Fitbit has the ability to support the watches in the wild and are choosing not to. That's why I say screw fitbit.
@VeshSneaks7 жыл бұрын
True. The lack of support is a shitty position for them to take and it's a shame for anyone who did buy the new Pebbles. I only ever had the OG Pebble and the Steel, so I was getting less and less anyway. Then I got an Apple Watch and... well, yeah. From what I can gather it was more of an acquihire for fitbit, they wanted the talent and patents for their own stuff. It might have something to do with an interesting part of the announcement. Fitbit said they had "acquired specific assets of Pebble", which suggests they didn't get the whole company.
@alchemicrb7 жыл бұрын
***** That's correct. a shame. I had the og pebble and a pebble time. Have had it for about 18 months so I did get my moneys worth. I was looking at getting a g3 before the announcement so not the worst thing in my case, but I feel almost like I may get forced into the upgrade now.
