Thank you for this review. I think it is the best material about Sense on KZbin. Greetings from Poland.

Great review. I actually like the strap. If you allow for a gap in the strap before you tuck the end in, for me, the start is one of the most comfortable I've ever worn.

spO2 isnt new for the sense, i have it on my fitbit ionic, and was used as part of there test trial for testing it out. but maybe they used my data to upgrade the hardware for the sense? no idea but the fitbit ionic does have it also,, 100%
@hardwarezonecom3 жыл бұрын
It wasn't so much that Sp02 is a new feature. It's a brand new watch series after all. I was more annoyed that they forced me to use a particular watch face to read Sp02 on-the-fly instead of just putting it as a menu option like any other reading.

damn, that sucks for your countries restriction on the ECG feature :( but was hella funny how you said it haha "oh great, another feature i still cant use" lol. good review overall

I have a Fitbit Sense and the face came off in August 2021, 10 months later the replacement did the same thing. I never get it wet, I do sleep with it on for sleep tracking and such. Fitbit said they will give me 35% off on a third watch, will not replace it. I have owned many watches from this company but I will never own another one again!! Starting my search for a new fitness tracker!

I've had the Sense for about 2 weeks now and my main issue is HR accuracy. Resting heart rate is ok , and extreme excerise is not too bad however going for a brisk walk my heart rate will stay between 90-105 when it should be closer to 125-135, very annoying. I'm holding out hoping for at firmware fix, but this seems like a wide spreed issue that has not yet been addressed.
@bearclaire3 жыл бұрын
Any improvement? And how would you say the step count and kcal burned are on accuracy?
@cinemapigeon48983 жыл бұрын
That's not good. $30-$50 trackers can measure heart rate pretty well. Is the watch too far up your arm, not tight enough? I know sweat can mess with readings, but a tight fit near the wrist can typically solve it.

I have a heart condition I really need that ECG , but is it accurate? A lot of people say that it doesn't have the probe sensors that it's just gimmicky but it's FDA clear from what I hear.so ehat is your take on this ECG sensor?

I’ve had my Fitbit sense for 3 months now, and I hate the band, which really irritates my skin, and the charger died already and had to be replaced. The prongs wouldn’t emerge and make contact. The unit itself is ok, but I do wish they would do better with the chargers. The Fitbit app has also had a lot of issues lately. There was a privacy agreement that would pop up and not go away, so it was unusable for over a week. Lots of others around the world had the same issue.

I got the google assistant to sing to me. If you scroll to the bottom and click a button to "repeat" the song then it will sing. It's unclear if that feature was there when you uploaded this, but it's still really buggy. I get multiple google assistant prompts overlaying one another, so it's hard to tell what my clicks will actually do sometimes.

I've had the sense about 3 months as well. I do really like it but of course it has bugs like any tech device. It's not a matter of if there are bugs, but a matter how many a device has. So far it's almost what is expected from Fitbit. The band though does dig int the skin. I have a mark there where the band goes underneath like you showed. It's a good idea to try to take it off for a little every day. After wearing it in water take the band's off and dry them off. Take a q-tip and gently put it in where the bands go to get excess moisture out. There are problems with text messaging at times as well with responding with the microphone. Sometimes it will not do anything and show a blank screen. This is only with Android phones as you're only able to respond with voice for Android phones for text messaging. Overall it's a really nice looking watch, any interface is pretty nice as far as a software goes. It's definitely a step up from the Versa two. The ECG is rather amazing when you think about how it figures that stuff out.

Any change of view now that ECG is approved in Singapore?
@MafiaMendel3 жыл бұрын
Great video Zach. I couldn't find many reviews about Sense on YT. And yours covers everything I wanted to know. The price here in India has gone down, significantly from launch time, also ECG functionality has finally been approved here, so I was thinking of buying it. But on a cursory glance through the Google Playstore reviews of Fitbit app, I am a bit apprehensive, with people complaining of connectivity and sync issues along with notification problems. Have you stuck to this watch or have you moved on to another product?

Thank you for this review! i was wondering if the ECG feature will work in Singapore if I purchase the US version of the Sense? would there be any downsides from using the US version in Singapore? Thanks! 🙏
@quekyhappyfarm17023 жыл бұрын
Fitbit sense physic watch only have 1 standard version and not by country. For ECG function it can only be downloaded and enabled by login into your Fitbit account (in Fitbit web account instead of on phone app), change your location to those countries that allowed for ECG feature. For me, I had changed location and time zone as USA, download ECG app to my watch, tested it works, changed location and time zone back to Singapore. As simple as that.

Same thing with Samsung Galaxy Active 2 and Watch 3 false advertising about having ECG which they do but what Samsung doesn’t tell you is that you have to have a Samsung phone a lot of people in the states are pissed because they purchased the watch thinking ECG would work with their smartphone. As far as Fitbit Sense ECG is FDA approved in the states and works very well. Samsung is the worst when it comes to deceiving customers no where on the box for Galaxy Watch or Active 2 states you must have a Samsung Galaxy phone
@hardwarezonecom4 жыл бұрын
We've seen the comments. Ah, if only we could even use the function. Besides Apple, our country's version of "FDA-approval' hasn't happened for any other brand for the past 2 years.

Its pretty dumb that you need a Samsung phone to use it. I wonder why they would make such a dumb decision.

Complaining about the strap: (1) you're wearing a Large strap on a punk wrist. Use the small size, Fitbit INCLUDES one of each in the box (or trim down the large one like everybody else does). This will solve all the "problems" you're describing. You state that water "always" seeps beneath the strap. Simply false ... if you don't like the method of strap attachment, order one for five bucks, you can get one with a conventional clasp.
