I bought mine Friday and I'm loving it!! Swiping works flawlessly so I'm not sure why you're having issues but I'm very pleased all the new features. I did enjoy your review very much. Kudos!! It's limited on the apps because it just came out with a totally new platform to develop apps/clock faces. It'll take some time for all developers to get on board. Too bad fitbit didn't think to share that info before both watches were released. But I'm very patient person.

Oh good. I think this is the best fitness watch by far. Now all I need to do is find a phone that likes the watch because I'm having trouble syncing. Ever since the last fitbit app and versa 2 update. Thought the problem would have resolved with the versa 3. But Nope. Isn't technically wonderful?!

Great review, looking to replace my dead ionic 😩 would you say the versa 3 has similar features? Main importance for me is built in GPS, beginning to feel the sense isn’t really worth the extra £100?!

I find it hard to justify the extra $100 for the Sense. The extra features you get are pretty limited IMO. If you have a heart condition the ECG might be worth it to have, but outside of that I’d say just go with the Versa 3.

I doubt it. I would guess that would be a feature they would include at launch if they wanted to. I am also reviewing the Garmin Venu SQ in a couple days. Might be a watch worth checking out.

You will be able to eventually (if you use it with an Android phone), but that's supposed to come "late 2020."

Correction, you can answer or reject calls, but you can't talk through the watch. If you use it with an Android watch you can respond directly to text messages using your voice or with quick replies though.

I just bought the sense and sent it back because there music app you explicitly mentioned. Told me to be incompatible. So I couldn't install it. Do you by any change have reviewed the Sense? I'm in europe ...an other question it seemed I was unable to delete bloatware such as starbucks pandora spotify etc, could you install these ? I would really appreciate an answer

Marcus Raptus you delete them from the Fitbit app and it deletes them from the device

@@jennbee6758 it's about the fact you cannot play music on the watch unless you take a Deezer plan or in the US you have pandore as extra option. It's such a marketing faux pas I'm convinced the product would fail without an adjustment of the software... Spotify just works as a remote ...really !

How long do notifications stay on the screen and is that time adjustable?

When they initially come they only stay for 3 seconds or so as a “banner,” but then they stay in your list of notifications for at least 4 days, because I still have emails from Friday in my notifications right now.

Thanks. And it's not adjustable? That really sucks. If I can't look at the notification immediately, I want to be able to still see it without fiddling with my watch. Like if I get a message while checking out at a grocery store and can't look at it right away and like one minute later I can look but my hands are full. I guess I'll keep on using my Pebble as long as possible. All other smart watches miss the basic features that make a smart watch relevant. Anyway, thanks for the review and reply.

you just select it in the notification menu as your prefered e-mail app and then you'll get notifications on your watch. you can't actually have the app on your watch

How about reliability on that spO2 sensor? I read somewhere that the Apple's was very unreliable...would this work better??..

From what I'm reading the Fitbit doesn't support SpO2 on demand, but will measure it during your sleep. On my first night of sleep it didn't show a score, and as far as I can tell it's just available in one of the watch faces, not a separate app like you get with some other watches.

The swiping isn’t much of an issue for me. What bothers me is the fact that there is really no way to go back. The only way to go “back” is to click the button on the side but that takes you to the display timer only. Other than that, loving the watch!

Keep checking out all of the features. You can swipe "back" it's a very nice add-on to the watch. I'm with ya I love the versa 3

I have both samsung galaxy watch and fitbit versa 3 I find fitbit is more correct on steps and heart rate than galaxy watch I love the fitbit versa 3 then galaxy watch

There's a terrible flaw with the Versa 3 and Sense. They no longer have mp3 music storage. You can only store and play music from a Pandora, Deezer, or Spotify account. This is going to kill their sales. 😕

I just ordered this watch a few minutes ago and am disappointed to see u having so much trouble with the swiping motion and limited apps. I'm hoping I didn't just make a huge mistake. I hope mine will work more smoothly. I have a Fitbit Versa 2 right now (owned for 4 months and have $350 invested in watch, charger and elaborate bands) and wanted this upgraded version. 😬🤔

I have the Versa 3 and you actually have to swipe near the edge or from the edge for the swiping to work. From what I see in you video, you're swiping in the middle that's why it's not working. You are actually giving out false information.

It does have it, but not on demand. It only measures it at night while you sleep, and is available to see in one of the watch faces from Fitbit. That said, it still will only measure SpO2 while you sleep.
