My Family had 3 Presa throughout the years. I currently own a Female at 140 lbs. It's alot Dog. There Lovable but Dominate Dog. When Dailed in Right there Awesome Dog but like you stated you have to put in the Work.

This guy's Presa's are the most beautiful I have ever seen! I want one, but I don't know if one would be right for my family. I love big dogs, and Great Danes have been my choice because I don't have to worry about my wife having to be the boss while I am away from home. I also love his answer on breed standard. Great Danes and even Labradors are in crisis over this. It is so bad with Danes, that dogs bred to the standard are called "American Style" among pet breeders. Stay away from breeders who advertise "euro" if you want a Dane. It has nothing to do with breed standards in European countries. The standard is the same in America as it is in every country in Europe that keeps a standard on Danes. Some countries in Europe favor a little heavier boned and shorter dog than in America, but the dog is still tight skinned, not over lipped, and athletic. These dogs are still well within breed standard.

You wrong the anericanized dogs became much bigger less prey drive less agressive less game less working dog. The americanized dogs became bigger much bigger look at rottweiller german shephard dobbermannn presa canario cane corso and many other the american ones are much bigger but less atheletic les for work more for show.. They did this with the american pitbull the same. They created xl bull xxxxl pitbull etc total differend dogs not the working drive and atheletic like the apbt.

I would have to get one when he's a puppy I prefer male dogs versus females I just that's just me but if I was to get a dog like that I probably wouldn't because I think they're too big for me I have a bulldog who weighs approximately 80 lbs and he's enough LOL but this is a beautiful dog I'm just curious how much does he eat and have you experienced any health related issues with these dogs what what are the common things you see in these type of dogs??
