Every note from his throat is a mitzvah to the angels in Heaven, and all of Heaven must go silent in awe at the power, control and beauty of his voice and the pure joy he brings to people privileged to hear it. I know those who come into my home in Oklahoma fall silent in awe when I’m listening to him as my doctor recommended music therapy and it works-all pain is forgotten, all affects of chemotherapy subsides and is replaced. by joy and is the answer to many prayers.

Just a pinch idolatrous? The very breath in his lungs is provided by HaShem, and everything he does, and we do, that is good, is by the grace of HaShem. All glory to HaShem!
@maureenlaburt20952 жыл бұрын
@@billmueller4695 I don’t consider it idolatry as I believe those who use their G-d-given talents while maintaining their adherence to decency without falling into the trappings of the secular world and potential for “super stardom.” Having been raised in the secular world, unless songs were blatantly raunchy I paid little attention to the messages of the actual lyrics and found myself stunned that even songs popular in my parents’ generation (they were born in 1928 and 1930) had lyrics about brief “flings” and “moving on”- my mother, a strict Irish Catholic, would never approve of such behavior; yet, she, too, would sing along obviously oblivious to what she was singing along to as did her younger brother, a Catholic priest and later Monsignor. Yes, Shulem’s talent, just as anyone else’s, comes from HaShem, but he and others also have “free will,” and I believe Heaven celebrates joyously or weeps in horror depending on the deeds and choices of mankind. That said, I listen to music from many countries and most of the top talent shows and have heard a lot of incredibly talented singers. I also have among many of my favorites many of the songs by “The Tenors,,” “The Irish Tenors,” and, of course, “The Three Tenors;” I also have Shulem and his brother’s music, MBD, Uziya Tzadok and “Celtic Thunder.” But Shulem’s range, voice and control has continued to be the most amazing. He’s younger than my “baby” as I’m also all too aware are many of the doctors who spent 6 months in a trauma ICU saving my life repeatedly, and there is no idolatry-only admiration for their dedication to their talents and gratitude to them and HaShem who put me in their hands and guided theirs.

It's ok, not as amazing as they keep saying. Very self-conscious, talking about the show. And Shulem needs more vocal training in order to really be what he's pretending to be. This is not to be mean, he has a lot of potential + should develop it.
