You may put to trash yours results from the band. You shouldn't measure the both on the same hand because the blood flow is chocked by professional blood pressure meter. So the measurements taken from wrist never be accurate. By the way, smartbands should have a kind of factor that can be settable during calibrating procedure.

You should have tried each device on a different arm because the clinical meter alters the pressure at the wrist when measuring because it measures by shutting off circulation for a brief moment.

It's very accurate. You should never do bps without a rest in between. Try the watch first then cuff. I appreciate your analysis . Remember bp is dynamic not constant. The watch appears good

Good review ive seen other brands instructions is that arm / wrist has to be at hart level maybe thats why you getting very low reading

Did you measure it using the bp monitor alone and then the wrist monitor alone? Using the cuff at the same time as the wrist could change the pressure flowing through the vessels at the wrist and give you inaccurate results. Can you test them one at a time to see what you get?

I observed that when I turn my fitfort fitness tracker to the inner soft part of wrist it gives me accurate reading than when I measure BP from upper part of wrist. Hope this helps it helps my reading be more accurate 👍

I read it's very difficult to get accurate bp at the wrist. And that part of the watch setup is calibrating the watch to a real bp cuff reader to begin. Otherwise the watch bp is going to be way off unless you just get lucky.

ecologicaltime if you check Omron’s BP watch they raise the arm up to heart level. Not saying that it definitely will work but it’s worth a try to be fair I guess.

I've had mine for 2 years and it's had to be calibrated always. From the phone on the app where you take your BP from the app instead of the watch there's a calibrate button.

​@@ecologicaltime not sure about that brand, I have Yamay. But you download an app on your phone. You insert your personal information including your "usual BP" with no meds. You are thenr eady to claibrate. You will have to see on your device's app on how to do that, it's pretty easy. with mine I just click the symbol for the BP and it asks for me to cick "Test" and it does, then you click "calibration" and it eill ask you to insert your usual BP then click the check in the upper left hand corner. Again, you will have to check with your device's app. It is probably a little different.

Yes. You do have to calibrate the Fitfort. You do it from your smartphone after downloading the app. In a similar way as the Yamay mentioned above.

How close is the reading to some sort of true medical device? We need numbers. Doesn't have to be "perfect"...but should be close. Example....I have a cheap voltmeter and I can check or calibrate it against an expensive Fluke model, and even if it's not competely in agreement.....it's still "close". But without numbers of some kind here as a check..... we won't know.

You needed another person with blood pressure 180:95 . One cannot tell if the BP measurement is good. In addition, this device needs to be calibrated first.

Dont do it. Its only good for counting steps. Its flashy but but the device and app are horrible. Its like an early Beta release. Takes 4 weeks to get to you from Hong Kong.

Pull really hard and wiggle it back and forth at the same time. Don't worry about breaking it ... After a couple times the rubber loosens up so it's easier.

It’s just a toy. If you are going to take bp readings with a cheap toy that you haven’t calibrated with the reading of your doctor you are just wasting your (and our) time.
