@@triliner254unfortunately probably not. Griefers do chunk tracking to find these bases, where they basically check every single loaded chunk and every loaded chunk connected to that chunk. It’s a slow process and they create full blown maps with grid sweeps to keep track of everything. It’s all very meticulous

They really need to go out to 4M in each of the cardinal and intercardinal directions, then have it fork at each 1M out just to create a massive amount of chunks and a net that's impossible to track so they can better hide the location of the next build.

Doesn't matter if there's a hack that tracks every chunk you fly through, it's like tracking someone right after it snowed. You can zig zag all you want but it's still very easy to see which way the path they walked in.

@@AoiKaze2000 tbh, that gives me an idea..... why not use bots that will fly with elytra, run around in circles, expanding bit by bit with the radius at which they fly? you know what that would make? it would show every chunk as the one thats been loaded/flied through. this would mean the whole grid of chunks renders the pathfinding impossible... lets see if someone does a bot for such an endeavor!

@@0Blueaura Exactly, if they hit like a 100x100 chunk area with paths diverging in like 6 different directions that each hit 100x100 chunk areas, it's going to render this approach to scouting next to useless because the bots are going to be wasting a lot of time on bad paths... which (as a result) is going to better help hide bases. The only downside is that the server is going to start consuming a ton of diskspace because of all the chunk spawning, but that's an admin problem.

Donfuer in 2050: After their base, Donfuer 47, which broke the world record for largest base ever built at 10 million blocks, fell to a coordinate exploit called "Graffiti" and was griefed by a group of players called "The Cumsockers" led by none other than popbob's lost younger brother, D_loaded and the gang quickly began looking for a new place to build their next base, Donfuer 48, with the intention to break the record once more.

@@lukent6775 The end was great in 2017 - 2019 man. The only problem is the fact that you can't hide a base due to chunk detection (which apparently can't be fixed except by Mojang at this point). Either way, not going to make Space Valkyria 5 until there's an end update of some kind.

Wake up and half your build was gone. Travis mud house literally dismantled every night until it got Enderman proofed.

Yes absolutely, as I have been saying for years. 2b2t is whether by intent or by accident an interactive art project about the impermanence of things in the life universe and everthing. It's this genius that has had me coming back from time to time to visit for the past 10 years to ruminate on such things, much to my wife's chagrin. She prefers servers with a sense of order and propriety, but totally misses the spectrum of humanity present in 2b2t, from the sacred to the profane, the community that is a microcosm of humanity and society itself that has me thinking about big things while exploring and building here.

The thing to do would be to have a separate group dedicated to finding ways to track the known griefer groups/people. Maybe even create a few bot accounts that patrol/monitor the area around the base and send an alert when someone comes too close. Also would be a good idea to have people do patrols through areas once a week to see if someone built a path or anything Then go further out into the end, say 7 million blocks, and then clear all the end islands/blocks going away from your base out at least 2 million blocks. This will leave no rest areas for players looking to hunt bases, plus they will not be able to repair elytras or access shulkers to get more elytras. And 2 million blocks is a lot further than an inventory full of elytras with unbreaking 3 on them can travel.
