I enjoy Two Builders Two Tools in a different way. When I was strong enough. I instead conducted stealth raids on bases. I want to preserve their beauty, novelty and nostalgia. I have griefed a base when it was deemed necessary like invading major strongholds, sabotaging fortresses and so on. But most conducted stealth raids. I would clear enough space for at least the items I needed but mostly I use shulkers. I would use potion effects as I see it was effective on vanilla players. I have never used hacks. I would assassinate those who patrol around the radius of spawn but at it's outskirts. I don't grief, I don't invade spawn. By the way I would kill players who kill new ones. I respect new players giving them a chance and all is equal. I made an underground bastion from afar. I made it if the 8th incursion ever came into existence. The PewDiePie incursion. It was big enough players and strong enough to fend off Intruders. It includes end crystal platforms, battlements, storages, lava, obsidian walls, cobweb traps, large piston doors, dispensers, planning to add TNT cannons and moats. Under construction. How I’m doing on 2b2t: I have full iron armor, tools, and a large stash of melons for survival on my travels, 8 stacks of melon blocks to be exact, but a full enchanted diamond found me, and I logged out on him, I haven’t logged back in yet. I hope he didn’t put a trap on my log zone.

Well it turned out pretty well, we now have a group of a pretty nice 23 players! Not close to the major groups that have hundreds or something but we already have undiscovered bases in the nether, end, and overworld. There is players online every day and someone gave all of us a “mod menu” or just some harmless hacks. We haven’t gotten any new players for 2 months, because we thought we were with plenty of people but I’m going to spawn soon to recruit some more. And we’re not all noobs, 6 of us are returning players, 5 of us are just players who died and had no spawnpoint, but the other 12 are noobs. The 2 friends aren’t very noob anymore, everyone gets better at the game by the day. Biggest obstacle is 2b2t’s connection. And internet. Loading, lagging, waiting in queue. Same stuff everyone struggles with

Can't use those hacks effectively? get killed off by the more skilled people who know how to use their hacks. In this server, hacking is just the norm and standard. It's like bringing guns into a medieval game. Sure, it's hellalot stronger, but since everyone uses guns, new strategies are made, the experience changes, and it becomes the norm.

The sad thing is... I've wanted to play 2b2t since I heard of it. Not to grief. Not for some weird random purpose of being on "the oldest blah blah server of blahdy blahblah". I saw the spawn and went, "I'd join just to fight the rising tide. The forces of nature itself. Fighting the very nature of the server itself. If I did it, it would be a personal goal for self-satisfaction. It's a goal I know will never be realized. The point isn't realizing the goal. The point would be in discovering my own personal breaking point. The point in which I give up and quit. The goal of finding out who is more stubborn, me or the server. In who is more tenacious. And maybe, if I did it a long time, leaving some signs behind to detail my struggle.

This is one of the coolest KZbin channels I've seen. I've never heard of 2b2t but this sounds awesome. Hearing about the history.
