Fun fact, if you decide to get the 2.4lt 4 cylinder option stock you can run N/A at around 275-300 hp with a tune to run 93 a cat delete a resignator delete and a high flow muffler with a exhaust size increase, but you can also turbo them from factory without rebuilding it (depending on how hard it gets driven) and make almost 350 to 400. For mine personally right now I'm running roughly 220 wheel with tune intake and exhaust, with plans to rebuld and install a supercharger other people with similar builds are dailying 450-550 wheel horsepower, so while the 4 cylinder may not come with a whole lot stock its got plenty of aftermarket support to make this car fast, (also do some weight reduction lol)

@@robinround7314 how would 4cyl on a 3k kg car be more fun than a v6 o.0? without a tune, the only time you'll feel that baby turbo is upwards of 5.5k rpm. Anything mid sedan or larger on a 4cyl 2.0"T" is slow, those kinda caras need V6s
@robinround73142 жыл бұрын
@@RX-hb3np Seeing(Or in this case feeling) is believing. I owned, and driven) BOTH. It is what it is! Take a look at the torque numbers. The 2.0T is at maximum torque at 1500 rpm! Go drive one! Not to mention the torque multiplication and the 10 speed gearing. It's as much, or more and seat of the pants, fun than a couple of big block V8 cars that I have owned in past years. My hat is off to the Honda engineers. Very little, if any, turbo lag with this beast. It runs the same 1/4 mile times as the 383 Magnum '69 Roadrunner I owned in high school (ask me how I know). I am a retired automotive technician and engine builder/shop owner that was drag racing probably before you were born. Just because you can't wrap your mind around it doesn't make it not true. That little engine is very impressive. And from what I see it responds well to mods as well as being very dependable. Go drive one and then get back with me.

I have a 8th gen v6 coupe with the 6 speed, It's the best daily I've ever had and I can't imagine getting rid of it. They are much faster than you would think, hanging with (and gapping sometimes, due to the shorter gear ratios) g35/7 z350/370s, stis, v6 mustangs, basically anything around 300 horsepower can get smoked by one of these things. The 8th gens still have double wishbone over the newer ones, makes them very good handling-wise and LSDs to put in the diff exist for when you put a new clutch in. That's what I did. Super reliable too and I beat it to hell haha. Also the autos are a full second slower 0-60, and they are much, much more common. (The close ratio gearbox being the main factor here) The coupe with the v6 and 6 speed is about 2% of the accords on the road. Thats part of why people can be taken by surprise by one of these, cause chances are even if you have seen one you don't even know it. You HAVE to get the 6 speed in this car for it to be fun.

They're abysmal to launch, but can beat 350Zs and G35s on rolls. With some bolt-ons and KTuner, you can push well into the 13s.

Got a 7th Gen, I'm glad that their is a community. I've seen some stuff like a 6k bolt on supercharger, and a few other things for my 3.0 coupé. Some good looking body kits as well... mostly I want to make the car look a little newer, give it some good power, and balance it all out with a set of coil overs and probably change the steering angle some.

If you want a decent sleeper accord, you gotta get the Sedan version with the 3.0L V6 and a 6speed manual thats what i drive. Honda only made the Accord in that configuration for 2006 and 2007 so good luck finding one boys 🤘

Or you could buy a 9th gen J35 sedan V6. Or hell they made the Acura TL in SH-AWD 6spd. That’s a proper sleeper unicorn.
@seven_deadly_strings4 жыл бұрын
@@delta_az4481 youre definitely not wrong bro the SH AWD TL has like 300hp and is quick. The only thing is i personally dont like the way it looks 😍 when it comes to TL's personally i favor the 2nd and 3rd gen Type S models, more ovet towards the 3rd gen TL Type S cus you could get it in a 6spd but the 3rd gen TL Type S with a 6spd is more rare than my 2006 Honda Accord V6 6spd Sedan.

Keep the fluids fresh and you won’t have any headaches what so ever. Only down side of the car is just due to age, a few rattles from the back seat area. I could find where they are and fix but I just turn the stereo up lol If you’re truly looking to own one, do it! You will never want to sell it.
