Honestly makes sense why army did well in the long run of challenges, the way military training works, is they arent' exactly training u to be fit, but they are training you to keep on going even after you are out of energy, so whille they might not have the same level of burst as some fitness people or body builders, they more then make up for it by saying. "I can go the distance then ten times more"
@basedondeez69863 жыл бұрын
The army trains to make the body perform as efficient as possible, not only focusing on muscular strength but on muscular endurance as well. Most fitness guys only care about their body that's why they only focus on strength while the army trains not only for strength, but for endurance against fatigue and stamina as well

I’m an Army veteran, enlisted at 18 and got out in 2000. When I was in we were just tested in push-ups sit-ups and 2 mile run. I think it’s really cool you did this. When I joined I was 6’1 and 130 pounds and had to work my butt off to gain enough muscle to graduate basic. I never wanna do another push-up again! But so cool watching you hang out with soldiers! The three Army guys are PERFECT examples of the three of the four people that take the tests. The tallest one scored the highest but also pushed the limits of what would be acceptable form: arguable lockout on pushups but not so egregious that most would dock him and he treated the knee tuck as more of an alternate pullup by facing outward. Gonzalez received fewer points but had perfect form the whole time. The last guy was a solid average soldier. Obviously they're not going to let someone who'll fail the test be in a youtube video. Would be really curious to see this competition by with some 82nd Airborne, Rangers, or SF participants. Fun video overall. Brandon's run strategy has been tried by every private that was already pushing sub-13:30 run times and it usually turns out like it did here.
