In this workout we focused on functional back exercises in tri-plane dimensions where the arms drive the thoracic spine and the femur drives the pelvis.
We did a combination of isometric and isotonic exercises ie wall sits, planks and held them up to 2 minutes in accordance with the latest health news on the bbc www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-66303982
Side lying combinations ie modified planks, open doors, leg raises etc.
Technique is key in all Pilates positions but side lying is quite common for people to slightly tilt their hips rather than them being stacked on top of one another.
