I myself love a fresh fitted cap, I do not bend the brim, and leave it just the way it came out of the box... But I do take the sticker off, mostly because I am self conscious about my head size... hope this doesn't make me a "poser", but I am a 40 year old white dude.

I was born in 83 so I def feel what you saying . It's def a generation gap thing like with so many other things . It feels almost blasphemous for saying this but I actually am fucking with the curved brim look , only slightly though . I guess because I'm getting older and a father now and having a slight curve seems to fit that aesthetic .I'ma never take the stickers off my hats it feels so wrong not to mention it leaves that damn circle where underneath that one spot looks fresh out the store lol. Even on my non new era hats shit can be a Mitchell and Ness ( remember when Mitchell and Ness was 🔥🔥🔥 them throwback jerseys though ) a '47 one or whatever I got Jordan hats that I refuse to take the sticker off . Alot of ppl say it looks immature and stupid blah blah . Having that sticker not only meant the shit was authentic as fuck but it just made/makes the fit look brand new . I think it's also a regional/coastal thing . West coast cats started the curving the brim thing I'm pretty sure anyway and take the stickers off east coast cats ain't having that lol I grew up in the DMV so . Anyway fuck it at the end of the day rock what you want and how you want . I'm pushing forty I could give a fuck less what some middle school or highschool kid thinks bout my hat 9 times outta ten they ain't gonna say shit to your face anyway lol.

I used to keep the stickers on my hats but now I just take it off and put them on the bottom of the brim for new purchases. I just don't like keeping them in the front anymore for some reason because I feel foolish back when I used to leave them on.

Youre exactly right, i got a lot of fitted and snap backs, nice ones that were like 40-50 bucks apeice, some of them are like 5 or 6 years old and i still got stickers on em AND them shits are fresh like theyve just been copped at lids or footlocker. Im 40 years old and been around a minute so i can remember the time when people kept their stickers on and you got the timeline downpat dude. I tried to use fitted caps but they dont feel as fitted or comfortable. Maybe I need to soak and shrink the back...IDK....I love snapbacks but over time the plastic cracks. I wonder if you can sew a new snapback into a hat with a cracked snapback?

I get it, but I'm on the polar opposite side. As a mechanic who has worked on a maintenance line almost all his career. I dont like my cloths to be fresh. A new pair of boots or pants/shirt dont feel right. I've gone as far to wear my new cloths on days I knew I was going to be grinding metal, crawling through grease, handling mill scale, just to get them worn looking. Its a good feelings buying a new set of carhartts and damn near destroy them in one 10hr shift, especially living where I live and all the people have all the money and soft skin. I got to let them see and smell what goes in the background to keep this country moving supplies. I understand this completely, your in the ghettos and the shit where you cant get a job even if you wanted one and you manage to save up enough money for some new clothing or a nice hat with your favorite team on it. Then you manage to keep that thing clean as fuck for 3yrs, I respect the hell out of that.

@@scarcevoid Because it gives your a hat a bikini line. Let’s say you where the hat a lot and you take care of it but something happens and the sticker starts to peel so you decide to peel it off. Well guess what. The top part of your brim will be two toned because the rest of the hat will be lighter because of the sun faded out tue color and the park where the sticker use to be will be darker than the rest of the brim because the sun was not able to get to it because it was protected by the sticker.
