Thanks for the well done video! I just picked up a 03 suburban z71 with 265/75/16 on it now but may go to 285/75/16 or 285/70/17. Good to know a 33" will just barely fit 🙂

Thanks on the video, I’ve been debating on how big I can go on my 06 Silverado which had 26570R17 wheels , but I’m going with the old school bullet hole rims size 16 and I’ll go with a 285/75r16 tire.

402 garage, got them on, only rub the inside closest to the cab if my wheel is cranked. Tight parking might give a little rub but the ride is great. Cooper at3 xlt tirea factory 16inch wheels

Absolutely no issues! My brother has a suburban 2500 with the keys cranked and it has 315/75/16 on it… just about a 35inch tire

Nice job! Do you remember the new rim's Offset?? Stocks are +31 , I hesitate between +13 or 0 . here it's not legal if the tire tread goes out from above the fender ... I need the 285/75 Bfg ATKo2's tread to be exactly aligned under the fender (or a smooth inside, and without additional fender flares)... thanks for the video!

I just found that the stock2005+ Hummer wheels are ET38 . ( Tahoe 2000 ET31). but are those rims the 7,5"or 8" width?

LoL when you stuck the camera under the front driver's side wheel well 😅 mine sounds exactly the same, just like every one of them after a cold start. One of the most reliable engines ever made sounds like a sewing machine. If you want some sound without it being to loud and not to raspy cut the exhaust right in front of the muffler and leave the stock cat, I was really surprised how deep and smooth it sounds with just a muffler delete. I did mine yesterday. 2000 Yukon xl 5.3

Great video, thank you. I looked all over for this info. Do you know if hitting a speed bump would cause issues with it being so close or has that happened to you? Any recommendations on longer/better shocks just in case? And for sure only rubbing during sharp uphill turns like you stated in other comments? Just trying to make sure before I invest, thank you man.

Only time I had rubbing was very very steep uphill while turning. The fronts didn’t rub it was actually the rear. When it flexed it rubbed on the inner plastic fenders liners.

So no rubbing when the suspension especially the front is compressed for example braking & turning at higher speed or off roading? Picking up an '05 Yukon SLT tomorrow & may need some better tires if Winter ever arrives here in Omaha.

I have no rubbing unless I’m climbing a sharp incline and turning at the same time. Which the rubbing is in the rear actually not the front. Thinking about doing an update video in regards to that.

Did you end up putting a leveling kit on? Would these cause issue in snow or off road camping?

No leveling kit. Left it stock and rides amazing. Has no issues in snow or off-roading. There slight rub when turning going up a sharp incline.

If it is 4wd I think you should be fine. There is a chance on some bumps you may rub but should not for regular driving.
