Thanks, went over two years with the boom just fitted between the soft pad and the helmet proper. After disassembling helmet to clean it, did I finally look at another video on how to reinstall the Cardo.Shaving down the tab on the mic boom to allow it through the mic opening was the key. Thanks.

1. In general SC2 sound and systems sucks compared to Cardo? 2. The built-in speakers inside C5 are actually Harman Kardon? Or just a regular HD speakers? 3. Got myself a C5 and Shoei Neotec II, not sure if it is better to have both using Cardo or use SC2 on the C5.

Recently updated my SENA to the latest firmware and now it connects easily to Cardo units. So I remounted the SC2 in the C5 for the cleaner looks!

do you find the volume not great on yours? I can barely make out what i'm listening to at 100Kmph

Hi Shane! True, the volume is not that great at higher speeds. Especially when connecting to another Cardo unit of my mate the volume is lacking. I switched back to Cardo to be honest (3 month ago). Connectivity and ease of use is better with a Cardo unit. It would be nice if they developed an adapter for Cardo units to mount to Schuberth helmets

How are you or did you route the cable from the Bold unit to the inside of the helmet? Did you cut a groove in the plastic flange on the neck roll?

I just passed mine over but if you want to just unstitch the neck curtain a bit to make a hole and poke the wires through. DONT cut the plastic as it won't fit securely as it relies on tension to stay in place.

@@RTonTour Right, I see. Thanks for that and I appreciate the info. I think I'm just going to try the SC2 system first even though it's kind of pricey. If it doesn't work to my liking then I'll retro-fit my Bold.

How is the adhesive pad holding up so far? My main concern is it may come loose because of the sena module slot cap underneath

Love it, visor needs a little silicone oil on the catch to keep it smooth but love the fact the visor stays open if I flip the front and close it again

People don't want to buy another comm unit when the one they bought is perfectly fine and save me about $400 candian dollars for the sena unit.

Did you use the Cardo 40mm JBL speakers? Did they fit in the helmet pockets?

Yes I did and I used the extra inserts to bring the speakers closer to my ears
