Fitting a K&N Cold Air Intake to the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT... MORE POWER?!

This time on Naturally Aspirated. After the debacle of trying to add new fog lights to the 205 GTI, Olly and Tommo decide that they know enough about being cowboy mechanics to fit a K&N Cold Air Intake to the big Jeep SRT. Make sure to check out the pulls towards the end of the video.

Can you really feel a diffrence in the HP, and did it increse acceleration?

It certainly felt more responsive! This may be a placebo because of the additional Intake noise, but only a positive experience from the change!

I had a look and I don't think K&N make that filter anymore, but one very similar... SKU 77-1567KS

Headers and exhaust mods needed with that cai. Then tune otherwise 0 gain

No additional power gain but more throaty. SRT airbox already flows well. Also have hotter air teperatures at idle. Power gain can come from free flowing 3 inch exhaust system. BTW open cone sits directly under hood vent which drains water over open filter. Good luck using open cone in wet England.

On my 2014 Jeep SRT what exhaust would add power? The K&N wont add power?

@@NinjaWarriorDude416 more air more power, more free flowing exhaust can liberate more power on standard tune. In fact standard factory tune can make fuel adjustments to take advantage of said changes. However, SRT air cleaner already flows well and does not heat soak when stationary.
