Great video guys. I can highly recommend TDI tuning in Chelmsford, very professional and friendly service. We had a box fitted about five years ago on our Hymer 2.8 TDI. It made a huge difference to the torque. We sometimes tow a car on the back so going up hills and overtaking could be tricky. With the TDI tuning box fitted the Motorhome had so much more power and response, no more sitting duck on the motorway. Last year we upgraded our Hymer to a new A class with a 3.0lt comfortmatic semi auto box. Graham and his team swapped the box from our previous Motorhome, retuned the software for the 3.0 engine and fitted it back in the new one. As you say it’s a no brainer - huge power difference when you need it and better fuel economy. Enjoy the extra oomph and to my mind a much safer driving experience. Our insurance company Comfort were absolutely fine with the installation, we incurred no extra costs.

Very neat fitment! What impress me most is at the end... that you have the option to unplug the module to have standard factory setting. That is very useful when having to source a obscure fault that may influence performance... such as a clogged air cleaner to name a simple example! What also impress me that the TDI Tuning unit is user friendly and no need for a ton of technical knowledge! Well done! Great video and great product!

Oh yes, and return to factory settings jumper plug is for when you have your engine serviced at dealer. Make sure to put plug cap in before any service!

Hi Dan, what difference have you noticed in MPG and is the engine louder? Btw - I e been back out Metal detecting in Hale Liverpool and I found a hammered in that fields we did. Remember metal detecting with the police.

Hi guys been watching your channel I was interested in this one about tuning box . After watching I looked at some forums about them , just wondering after watching your vid and after reading lots of forum post about tuning boxes did you inform your insurance According to forums it’s a modification to your vehicle and if it increases power your insurance should be informed And knowing what a great expense a motor home is and the fact it’s your home , and the fact insurance companies will void insurance for the slightest technicality think it would be wise for you to look into if you already haven’t already Enjoy NC 500 it’s on my bucket list

We informed our insurance but they weren't interested. Its mainly for cars that insurance will want to know. Motorhomes seems to be a different case.

Every engine is different and requires a custom map for your engine produced while the vehicle is on a rolling road to get the ultimate enhancement. These chips are a cheaper way of improving performance and economy , they do work but don't buy from eBay get it done properly with a warranty.
