Still toying with the idea, I’ve got a harness bar in the boot so can run my harness with that..roll cage would add on track safety with the expense of weight…not too sure yet

Yes Tim. 32” waist! I remember them days eh. Top it off with genuine bmw M4 carpet mats, spray on Scotchguard protector. Then fit the bmw M4 rubber over mats. Total protection. Especially in this awful weather.

Have you utilised the oem seat belt buckle or did you buy aftermarket? I need to purchase new ones as I got rid of mine when I sold the oem seats

Hey Tim, so its been close on a year since you fitted these. What's your verdict? I am considering the Recaro Pole Positions for my M4, but think the cobras you have look far more OEM. Just curious as to hpow you have found them for general daily and longish diatance driving??

These are great! Good on track not as hugging as a bucket seat but easier to live with! Had these Sparco in before and they were too tight for me and a faff to get in each time 😄

No regrets at all mate, I’ve got a lumbar pillow that I pop in when I’m doing long journeys due to my back..taking them on track in a few weeks, I’ll know more then..apparently people take out pillows for track so they can sit lower which takes 5 seconds as they are attached with Velcro but I’ll see 👀

CHEAP, doing everything ourselves- is saving money, but nothing with our BMW is cheap. They are as by nature expensive to keep alive. Nice cars are as they say exotics and the word says it all. A higher price tag in most everything OEM- Original parts. It's the reason people can't afford nice cars. But those of us who know, driving a boring average joe car is not an option for that exotic driving experience in every way..Thanks Brother..Life long BMW Owner..!
