Those boxes are a good idea and an alternative solution to the lack of stalks available nowadays. I was one of the suckers that paid 250 sheets for one a couple of years back but it was brand new 😆 I should have bought one years ago when they were about 60 or 80 quid from VW. I had to activate cruise on my van and did it with a laptop and cheap lead off eBay. Good how to especially the fuse box bit 👍

Yer there not cheep at all but this is a good alternative and works the same so winning really. Yer it's not hard to turn onnthe cruise control function and the software is so available now you don't have to spend an arm and a leg at dealers Thanks mate means alot 🤙

Hi mate thought I would come back and update my previous comment. Yer this does work on 1.9 I thought it didn't but I've checked and it dies along as its a TDI. But the best way to check is put your foot on the brake while reving and if it dips it has cruise control

Great aftermarket mod. Wish this was about a few years ago.. I was lucky enough to purchase a OEM stalk for just £68 approx 7+ years ago.. and a mate of mine installed it and vagcom'd/ programmed it..... however my horn on the steering wheel has got more an more tempremental over the years since it was done, and for the MOT i tried taking the wheel (steering) off to replace the copper ring and found out he screwed up the air bag and myself and 2 other garages have failed miserably to get it off. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 . This mod wouldve saved so much hassle, grief and expense..... ive now gotta find a way of connecting up some sortve horn as its totally given up the ghost now. 🤬🤬🤬 Great to have the cruise tho, as i travel everywhere from cardiff upto manchester, newcastle, all the way over to france and belgium. Wouldnt live without it now.. Thanks for posting.. keep up the fine work... Ive learnt loads of possibilities for my 2.5 from your channel. Cheers fella. 👍👍

68 quid wish they where still that cheep. That sucks its messed your horn and wheel up, which my horns I wired them to 12v and a switch and put them on a switch passes mot and solves your problem. Thanks mate I pleased you enjoy my content 🤙
