Yes, you have been an inspiration with this video. One of the most interesting yet. Many thanks, I can’t wait to get going on a couple of locos

Hi All At HATTONS, Meant to join this but sorry missed it but a couple of points on the class 52 Western you said on the siting of the name plates to check the right place for it but on this model there are a row of dots to show where it goes as well as the number's at the ends also you said about the numbers for the head codes at the front and implied that you stick them on but in fact its a body off job to put them in the right place so they are illuminated. Finally having just bought the BR blue one from you you were very sensible and did not mention the 32 no. handles that are smaller than a pin head that need to be glued on the roof removable panels I think this is taking extra detail to far when they could have been part of the molding what do you think?. I have a video on YT coming out on Friday 23 rd at 7pm that introduces this loco to my viewer's where I mention this and also I show the Hornby 66 to which I have fitted the Illuminated Models kit I think it gives the loco a new lease of life. I did enjoy this and will try and actually join one live in the future. Please all of you keep safe and well. Cheers Robert.

Thanks Robert - its not possible to cover the full range of details in these videos but its true that some are trickier to fit than others. Thanks for watching.

If you're fitting items like vacuum pipes that are going to be glued on, do a 'dry' test fit first to make sure it fitsinto any hole properly. Etched name plate, cut out of the frame on a hard surface. If you do it on a cutting mat, there's a danger of it bending in the end as the cutting mat depresses while cutting. Alternatively, use a sharp pair of scissors and gently file off any remaining sprue.

Some great tips there, thanks for sharing. I'd definitely recommend test fitting any parts that have locating sockets. Thanks for watching.
