Hello Callum, a great video :) I was in the sitting room watching this video whilst in the middle of cooking dinner, I went in to the kitchen and could hear the locomotive from there. Amazing sound quality, if that's a baby boomer heaven helps when it grows up !!!! lol

Honestly don't know, think it might be a resistor of some sort for certain models

Hi there, by adding this decoder you are making the loco DCC (the loco was DC before fitting). All sound function will operate on DCC Control, however, if you choice to run the loco on DC the basic chuff should work. Hope this is of help
