Thank you so much! I just got a Peloton and could feel things were set up wrong for my feet the first time, so my partner did a search. I've never used cleats. Thanks!!!!

*Great **Latest.Bike** , good looking, good suspension and love the gearing. I've tested some bikes that were more then twice the price but not as good. Get lots of looks when riding.*

I had my cleats on the bowl for two years and on intens training volume I got contraction at the left calf, I have moved back the cleats from 5 mm I hope it will help ! thanks for the advise. The drawing helps to understand on wich position should be the feet on the pedal and where should be the marks. On other wideo they say about the same but the feet is flzt so it changes everything.

Very good videos. What if I bought new shoes and I want to use de same position of the cleats I had before, how do I do it?
@paulmurray78228 жыл бұрын
Hi, very informative video. Can you explain how tight/loose the cleats are attached to the shoe and how that effects the float. Can it be done without torque tools
@stevenleffanue8 жыл бұрын
Yes Paul,you can tighten the cleat bolts without torque tools. The bolts should be quite tight but not so tight that you risk damaging the tool head. The tightness of the cleat to the shoe does not affect the float as float is predetermined by the shape of the factory formed cleat.

Great video, any idea of the specific size of the screw used to retain the memory clip to the shoe.

Not sure but its a fine thread.

Thanks for the video, it was verty thorough. Do you have any tips about choosing the kind of cleat? Do certain cleats work better for certain people or situations (black, grey or red cleats)?
@stevenleffanue8 жыл бұрын
+Jackie Thomas If you havnt used Look cleats before,go with the medium 'grey' cleat. After a years riding you should know if you want more float or more of a solid feel. Thanx Jackie

Great info. Thank you for posting. Question: when you install the memory clip do you grease it prior to installing? If so one side or both sides? If one side, which side? Thank you very much.
@stevenleffanue4 жыл бұрын
Greasing or bees waxing is to prevent noises. Bees wax is best otherwise grease. Apply to both inner and outer surfaces of the memory clip.

I am updating to Look Keo cleats. My SIdi shoes have the small screw opening on the bottom, but I don't have the small screws. What size are they? Really good video. Thanks
@stevenleffanue7 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Hodges You mean the cleat preset screw? Im not sure Andrew. Sidi shoes come with those two screw included. If you dont have them,try M2 8mm. The normal cleat screws are M5 8mm. Otherwise email Sidi and they should be able to send you some.

Is it possible to adjust the Q? Side to side positioning like on a Speedplay or SPD? Thanks
@stevenleffanue8 жыл бұрын
+Andy Higgins Yes you get about 8mm Q for each cleat for both Speedplay and SPD.
@AndyHiggins0078 жыл бұрын
+oz cycle great thanks, undecided between speedplay and look, any thoughts on the differences? Thanks for your reply
@stevenleffanue8 жыл бұрын
+Andy Higgins I havnt used speedplay so cant comment. Have a read on some forums about them....sometimes some styles of pedals are better for triathlon or road etc.

+oz cycle heel in and toes pointing out. Things I see on video the person not that off. Reason I was asking because I started using them. I had fitter set but new do bother off the bike. I've been looking to see if there tips on how to change angle by where the pain is.
@stevenleffanue8 жыл бұрын
+cook7772 Yes,if you cant find anything through google you may need to see a Podiatrist who deals with cyclists. Its a bio-mechanical issue and there are so many factors to consider for an individual fit. If I hear of anything that may be if use to you I will get back to you. Cheers....Steven
