Great Vid and insightful comparison, Lee. Been watching you over on Dan's channel as well and you all have so much fun. Cheers

Good video, Lee. Nice to see ego and everything else taken out of the equation and seeing how subtle changes can make a difference, rather than reaching for a different club or swing changes

Very interesting and that is due to your easy-to-follow explanation during the fitting.

I have done this same thing with my epic flash. 10.5 to 9.5 and adjusted the weight slightly to the toe. Still get the hook sometimes and push the face open to the slice lol. May be time for an upgrade to this one.

I will be checking this driver out even though I wasn't looking for a new one this year. Your testing studio sure looks like fun and I'm jealous.

Good video Lee, you fit yourself nicely into that club. And you hit it very well.

Enjoyed that Lee, puts a different twist on it, and shows how you would work as a fitter, more please👍

Thanks Lee, so say to take that fitted driver to the course, so what would the player look for to confirm the settings and maybe make further changes, cheers.

God I wish I had your set up lol the only problem is I’d never be satisfied and want to keep changing things and probably miss the best club for myself lol
@Victor7972642 жыл бұрын
I made the mistake he has mentioned in the video I bought a 9 degree epic speed when I most definitely need a 10.5 epic max I plan on playing with the adjustment soon and just practice ball connection here soon

One of your best vids yet, Lee! Are you putting it in the bag?
@LWG3 жыл бұрын
Not yet no. I’m waiting until courses open so I can test on course. Glad you liked the video 😀

Good fitting. I think that you would fit better into one of the other two heads. You can change the CG and hit it dead straight.

Nice video, Lee. I think I am getting ready to make a driver change from my 13 year old Ping G10. Never thought I would, but now that I am looking at 66, I think it is time to let technology help me out. Put that one up against the Cleveland Turbo, should be interesting. Cheers from Texas. 🤠

Do you think that on another day you would have to fit yourself differently? When I play I can be playing with a draw one day and a fade the next!
@LWG3 жыл бұрын
You can only fit for what you see or what your told is a tendency

Good video. Would you not need to go back to the original set up to double check. Does your strike and shot quality get better with each shot ? The last shots would always be the best shots of a session ?
@LWG3 жыл бұрын
Yes I would always go back and check the clients original driver. No not really on strike or the last shot.

Big Bertha is your club. But I’d test the Max and move the weight and hosel setting

Hi Lee, just wondering even with the N and D settings on the hosel, will changing loft alter the lie? Looking at get one of these. Thanks
@BigChrisBungle3 жыл бұрын
Just wondering.... would have you tried other shafts to compare in a proper fitting?
@LWG3 жыл бұрын
Always. If for no other reason than to prove the current set up is right.

Hi Lee keep up the great work buddy. I was interested to hear you say knocking the loft down opened the face as when I had my driver fitting way back when they put the loft up to open the face and flatten the lie. The driver was the Sim Max can you explain if this was correct buddy ?
@LWG3 жыл бұрын
Sorry, if you read previous comment confused myself. So adding loft will close the face and make the lie angle more upright.
@LWG3 жыл бұрын
Any adjustment to the SIM TM sleeve makes the lie angle more upright. Even lowering loft.

So out of all the drivers you have tested what’s going to replace you mavrik. Epic speed or the titleist. I broke my clavicle at the weekend so no golf for me for 12 weeks was looking forward to getting back on the course 28th March 🤦🏻♂️

Not sure yet. Still have ping and TM to come in yet.

Doesn't a toe strike open the face at impact?
@LWG3 жыл бұрын
It causes gear effect and opens the club face during impact. I wanted it more open upon impact.
