I put new bilstein b4s on the rears of my old 320d(f30 lci) and got a knocking sound changed the top mounts still there fitted a salvage oem shock and it stopped knocking weird

@@aaanton11 cheers pal. I only say it cause I have a 2010 320d used daily. Just hit 204000 miles. Bought for £6k in 2015. Apart from regular service, hardly anything has ever gone wrong with it!
