Great stuff guys, thanks for the video. Doing a refurb on and old van and I'm a bit of a newbie. Great ideas here. Thanks

Great attention to detail and awesome craftsmanship...I like the way you show any errors/adjustments you make along the way (saves others doing the same).. Up there with the best builds I've ever seen ...

Hi there, nice job. I'm thinking of fitting the same oven/grill and just wondered what your opinion is of it, now that you been using it for a few years?

I see the Lidl pull saws came out again. I use them every time now as a first choice, they're absolutely great for the price.

I think you need to space the hinge side of the fridge door away from the cabinet if you want to fit it flush and have the door open properly. I'm convinced it used to be in the manual, but it doesn't seem to be in their current manuals. IIRC it's about 12mm, so the cabinet space needs to be that much wider than if you're fitting it with the door proud.

All sorted now, will show in future video. Yes needs a bit more clearance but much better than bringing the whole fridge out. 👍

I have a gun designed for chemical fixings from Fischer. Because it's got to shove a stuff mortar and catalyst through a mixing nozzle it'll shove anything else out with ease. I too gave up with budget crap guns as they bend too easily.

Fantastic as allways 👍

Did you not consider the hob above the oven ?

I'd suggest covering the inside of the venting hole with paint. As you cut through that metal, you leave unprotected exposed metal there. Oh, you did that. Lol. I'll leave it here for anyone who might miss that and could see this as a reminder. :D

Why don't you make a workshop serie where you upgrade your workplace. You deserve a nice and organized shop.

Believe me, it’s all planned and has been for a while. The prep for the slab was done 3 years ago and that is where I had to start prioritising house and family projects/budget. 🙄 One day it will happen!

Is the gas bottle in the gas locker what will be used to fuel the oven? Or is the gas locker completely sealed with a spare and you will use an additional gas bottle near the oven? If so, where will you store it? Your videos have been a life saver!!!
@TheRestorationCouple3 жыл бұрын
This is just for the oven and hob, we have never been away long enough to both keeping a spare on the van.
@kitsnicks27783 жыл бұрын
@@TheRestorationCouple Thanks alot. Do you just drill a hole in the gas locker for the copper pipes leading to your appliances? Thanks again.

do consult with the main operator of the kitchen area, it is imperative to have all users happy with the work space.

i have the same fridge but mine is bigger, CRX-110 watch out how you open it, handle can break very easily don't force it when you lift up the handle, Dometic fixed it under warranty, apart from that issue, it's a very good fridge, not cheap though, :)
