We recently visited Irish Nursery and Baby Store Kaliedy to attempt to solve a common conundrum for parents - how to fit three car seats in the back of a five seater car.
Head of Buying Jonny Ward talked us through the different options in the Audi Q5 we brought along, and we learned that it's not always an easy puzzle to solve. He shows us some of the safety issues that can present with side by side seats including 'buckle crunch' and emphasized the benefits of extended rear facing car seats, and importance of a safe and secure fit, even if that means a change of vehicle.

It's a good subject, I'd say for one though, the VW Touran won't be beaten, think it has 6 isofix, front seat the 3 middles and the 2 in the very back, would be interested in seeing a video similar using that Touran.

I was really hoping you would manage to fit 3 in the video cause I face the same issue with my GLC and upcoming baby :(

So where are the 3 seats in the row? 🙄🤔 such a misleading name of the video. You place two car seats in the back and then say the third one we put in the front 😆🫢 that’s not 3 in the row. And the other parent should take a bus? And with the current back configuration in the back there’s absolutely no way the third kid would be even able to get inside the seat, in between a rear facing seat and an egg. And he calls himself “an expert” 😒🤦‍♀️
