Fitting Tow Bar to 2017 Ford Focus

Is the towbar from a mk2 estate; Do you know maybe the exact type?

Mk2 and Mk3 are the same I believe

It was also quite difficult, but you have to take of the trim on the inside of the boot on the left, half way up and splice into the light wiring. There is probably a better way but the tow bar we got was second hand and had no instructions so we bodged it.

The tow bar was from a mk2 focus estate; Do you maybe know the exact type???

@@ExcellentEngineering1966 the ford store on Ebay currently has the official wiring kit for £75 which just plugs into the existing loom, although you need the trailer module box (£110) as well. It does mean that it integrates with the car's ECU correctly, turns off reversing sensors when there is a trailer, etc.

Not even a focus though it looks like a ford escape 🤦‍♂️

I'm sure your an expert on what cars I own, pretty sure the Escape isn't even sold in the UK...
