Will trx4 metal driveshafts work on these jeeps? I keep breaking the plastic omes and can't find upgrades for this

Hi Brian, as I mentioned in the video I had trouble with upgrading the rear drive shaft since it is first and foremost designed for the TRX-4M. No worries though. You can dry your tears as I dried mine. The metal drive shafts designed for our beloved AX-8560 are now available☺️: www.banggood.com/custlink/DKK5fBcLoT . Have fun and be safe out there.

А у джипа есть влагозащита?

It's more like splash proof so you can can drive through puddles and similar. I wouldn't play submarine with it. Make sure to dry it after it got wet.

So the back isn't a portal? And just the front is? I thought that's what I heard

Yes, you have heard right. Since the axles are designed to fit on the TRX-4M and Austar can't completely build the chassis without getting sued, means that not all the upgrade parts are interchangeable between Traxxas and Austar. The front axle was fitting perfectly but the rear axle would not fit right out of the box. After installation it would be attached in a weird angle and the rear drive shaft was giving me problems too. I assume you can make it fit but you would have to modify the chassis of the Austar. I don't own a TRX-4M which, would have made the installation process much easier, but maybe we'll get some adapters to make the rear axle fit on the Austar or it might even get it's own set.

@@carlitofisher ya that be cool. It's a pretty capable rig out the box but I can never keep them stock

It seems that your rear axle is poorly made at the factory because the Jeep Austar axles work plug and play on a traxxas trx4m

That might be right. I don't own the TRX-4M so I can't check it. I assume that the connecting part for the rear axle have been packed incorrectly. The rear shaft was too long and the adapter for the stock shaft didn't fit. The construction itself is very well made.
