I think most people would agree that a simple exhaust modification like this is very unlikely to cause warranty issues.

Not much, no, sounds like they can be pretty difficult? I've never heard of them denying payment over a resonator delete.

Patrick Simpson payment maybe not, how ever say a sensors goes or something on the car they will be first to say “well you’ve modified it which voids your warranty”

Total Car Reviews some fun points, 1. It's illigal to deny a warranty claim unless they can prove it was the resonator delete that caused the failure. (Volkswagen/Audi actually sell a resonator delete pipe as OEM option product, I've got one) 2. The dealers almost never give a damn about modifications. Warranty work and repairs are their bread & butter (dealers are privately osned) It's when they submit the claim to VW head office when VW can deny the claim. Now... If you've got a APR Stage 2 tune with supporting mods making 380whp and your head gasket goes.... Well... That might be a issue with warranty.

hog_hedge yep it will..just had it done ordered the same one,sounds amazing not silly noisy but def a deeper throatier sound and a little more burbles..love it
