I have no idea how magic is normally done, including solid rings attaching/detaching or even how spunge balls appear from nowhere. This however... It was a really nice trick, and I don't know exactly the details, but at least I get an idea of how I would recreate it. Obviously I wouldn't come up with the plot, but after seeing it, I would be able to make something similar. It's all technology. The one thing I would not figure out is determining order the cards were taken, that is who got which card, but on the other hand, you probably didn't either, although you gave the impression of it. Clever! Very likeable. Good work!

@tarbosh9172 жыл бұрын
Well you have to remember that a lot of what you see is showmanship built around tricks that are otherwise very simple (from a professional magician's perspective at least). Most of a good magic act has to do with the performance and not the actual technique, but the technique could come off as being far more complex if there are enough bells and whistles to the performance. A pretty good number of acts on Fool Us are some kind of force, sleight of hand, or card handling. A performer picks what sort of trick they want to do and then build an act all around it. If this guy were to explain what the trick was it would probably take him 10 seconds and would come as a bit boring. By packaging the act around it it's very entertaining and a lot of effort! The enjoyment for us, knowing that there's a trick, is being distracted by the act and not thinking about how it's done but rather how is he going to deliver the punchline.
