I think Questron's right on this one. If they're committed to this whole "two abilities, one cooldown" approach, then there needs to be some sort of reduced cooldown for dropping invis early. Otherwise you're just getting punished for being proactive and dynamic.

Yeah, she's done. Feels clunky and the essence of her character is gone. Of all the character changes/reworks this one legit feels like it should be reverted.

Fitzy has always been more proficient on picking off the enemy backline so the Sombra changes are conflicting to his play style. He heavily relies on Sombra's invisibility to gather information and terrorize the backline The previous Sombra changes could still be adapted to his play style, but with the recent changes, I won't be surprised if he'd have a hard time adjusting to it. It sucks that the identity of Sombra is basically gone now (a backline assassin that can gather information and direct teammates on dives and so on) but I do get how oppressive an invisible enemy with an interrupt ability can be.

So fun fact, I dont know if anyone else has noticed but if you crouch when you come out of invis the voiceline doesnt play.

Maining Sombra since she’ve appeared, and this is the worst changes for her in my memory. Seems to me, i’m done with this game. Seriously. She literally never got that she deserves. Just because of gentle asses of some of gamers. Instead bunch of haters on both teams sides and doubtful status of dps, in spite of much benefit she could do even without kills. And they just nerf her only strong suits. Genius. Wake me up, when (if) they cancel this shit.

People don't understand the utility she brings. Matches have changed around just from switching to Sombra and disrupting their backline. It was literally what brought me back to playing this game after what? Season 2? Now I left again. I'll just do the same thing I have done with Blizzard products, go to a superior competitor, FF14 for WOW, POE for Diablo and hopefully Marvels for Overwatch.

fizzy always played very passive and used lots of invi, for questron for instance this change might be a net buff

@@ytcmbt2505 Questron seems pretty confident he can at the very least make it work, but even he thinks they'll need to have some sort of reduced cooldown if you drop invis early, otherwise the game just punishes you for being proactive by giving you an increased window of vulnerability.

@@JordanYeethat’s the worst change I’ve seen in this game, they take away perma invis which sure fine whatever but now if you aggressively go make a play like he tried against the Ashe at 7:30 then you just get screwed over. They give you opportunist like you’re supposed to use it but then when you try you just get left out to dry with no escape. it makes no sense

Like, I can see where Questron's coming from, and it'll be workable, sure, but there are so many changes in this rework that conflict with each other, that it's hard not to see it as a bad faith attempt that really just wants to be done with this character. This hasn't solved anything for new players' pain points. They're not gonna play like questron. Instead of sitting around doing nothing in invis, they're gonna sit around doing nothing behind cover.

I think Fitzy can manage this with sombra, I played as her and stayed by the team ( mostly on high ground) and it worked. I get why player complain but I think player are just used to her on easy mode by flanking, hiding and running away

I just don't think FitzyHere cares about overWatch anymore, so he's not really trying. Fitzy hasn't played OW2 in months and instead been streaming "DeadLock". Even during this stream (1st day of new season), he stopped playing OW2 after like 5 games and switched back to "DeadLock".

theres a reason sombra has such a high skill ceiling. Perma invisibility is bad, i agree, and virus is so ass. however, invis for 5 seconds cannot do anything. What will you do when a widow dominates a map and shes being pocketed by a mercy? Unless youre a mobile tank or a support that can climb, you're not going to be able to kill her. You need people like sombra to punish people's positioning. It is a skill issue ( i dont mean that maliciously), if you cannot kill sombra, as she is rather easy to kill if you are above silver. You just need to be aware.
