What abt the electrical signal 4mA to 20mA.? If u would tell us particularly that at 4mA which valve will open and at 20mA which valve will open.. this would be a great appreciation

How neutral position is possible when there is always high oil pressure acting on the hydraulic springs near the feed back sensor?? Can you please explain??

I have the same question as yours, I thought the left control spool is bigger than the right one (4 pcs near feed back sensor). the control spool can control the main spool position depend on the feed back sensor. what do you think?

Need Help!! The problem faced is that the pump plunger stroke of one unit is quite low compared to the other units and thus the exhaust temp/power output is low for that unit at low rpm of the of the engine (less than half ahead). But at higher rpm (ahove half Ahead) the plunger stroke becomes ok and is about the same as othe units with not much deviation in exhaust temp. Can you advise what is at fault FIVA or booster ?🙏

The cross-sectional colourful view of FIVA as shown, a constant supply of hydraulic oil is fed to the pilot actuator. Well, then where does the pilot actuator apply pressure to move the spool? There must be an actuating pressure at one end corresponding to the demand, say fuel injection...then over a certain crank angle, the spool will be moved by being activated from the other end by pilot actuator. Isn't it? The supply in red colour simultaneously showing supply to the pilot actuator at the same time to the other end of the spool. How come possible? The animated working of the spool is easy to make out, however in reality after viewing the actual block of FIVA (Bottom part) it's quite confusing and difficult to identify the dedicated ports.

Pls tell about in this video abt fail safe method also
@MarineEngineeringHub4 жыл бұрын
If signal is not received in range of 4-20 mill-ampere, in this case the fiva valve will operate in fail safe position causing exhaust valves to open and fuel injection line will be block and alarm will be raise as malfunction of fiva valve. I hope you understand!!!! Thank you for your questions!!!! Keep supporting and keep learning!!!! Please do share with your friends also!!!!

I understand bro , but fail safe method operates by spring or ccu
@MarineEngineeringHub4 жыл бұрын
By CCU it is done
