long story short: five's a 58-year-old time traveller stuck in his 13-year-old self's body, because time travel is difficult and he's not the best at it. he was born with the ability to teleport and time travel, and his 6 siblings were all born with their own individual powers, too - they were all born as a result of some magical worldwide spontaneous pregnancy, and then the 7 siblings in the show were adopted by a billionare named reginald hargreeves, and raised to be a crime-fighting superhero family... which kinda backfired, because they're now all traumatised adults. they were given numbers instead of names for the first few years of their lives, and five is the only one who doesn't have a real name (i believe the writer said it's because he doesn't want one). five's actor was 13 during the recording of season 1, iirc. it's a pretty chaotic show, lmao.

Umbrella Academy is a Netflix show based off a comic. They're basically 7 special kids that got adopted by one dude who trained them to become super heroes. They all have their own super powers and 5's is to jump between space and time. They all have numbers but eventually got real names except for 5. It's a pretty good show. There are 2 seasons so far and a third will come eventually (thanks covid).

Oh man this is the absolute best show! It’s about a family of dysfunctional superheroes essentially. Number Five is actually 58 - he time traveled when they were 13 and got stuck in the Apocalypse for like 40 years. When he finally figured out how to get back he ended up still being in his 13-year old body lol. He’s also a literal assassin and probably the deadliest person on the show BUT....he is the good guy. Now I gotta find you some good Umbrella Academy videos because the show is amazing and Number 5 and Klaus are the best characters.

the umbrella academy is a netflix show based loosely off a comic book. five is my fave character played by 18 year old Aiden Gallagher. Five is actually 58 years old but dut to him getting stuck in the future he now looks like a 13 year old. Basically the umbrella academy is about a dysfunctional family of superheroes. You should check it out it’s great especially seasons 2 and 3 season one is a bit slow in the beginning but has a great ending. take care.

Yeah like the person says below he was pushing 60 he grown up in the apocalypse world of the future. It's complicated slight spoilers basically when he was actually 13 He time traveled in the future. And got stuck there it took him forever to get back. In the end he had to make a deal with the handler and worked off a debt and then he got impatient and decided to run and wound up coming back in time to his family. And yes technically there is a one through 9 or 8? But after 5 had time traveled their mother had given the names because you know it's weird to have numbers instead. So their father Reginald only ever called them by their numbers. That I can remember anyway. I remember Luther that was number one saying you don't have to call me about my number anymore and his father says why this is because I'm the only one left. His father didn't say much she just went back to working. But back to five five power is space and time manipulation and you know time travel within reason. It's different it's all I'm saying he spends a lot of time trying to save the future and his brothers and sisters. And he can be sassy yeah because he's constantly stressed out and annoyed bye well the fact that it's around kind of a dumbasses. I mean I like characters his brothers and sisters they're cute but they're kind of dumb. Five had a really steep learning curve to be fair. And as a verbally abusive as he can sound he loves them and getting back to them is the only thing that he thought about for years so remember that when he's being verbally abusive he means well he's just under a lot of stress trying to say millions or even billions of people. But that doesn't answer your question on his age yeah he's like 58 thrown back in a Time and getting into the body of 13 year old Adrian or Aiden what are the kids name is was actually a little older than that time and it's now 17. 16or17 something like that. But the point is he still looks fairly Young and he can pass for 14 and you know they just need him to be younger for a little bit longer they'll probably do a time jump for his age again. If you do watch the show you'll notice that you don't see him with the gun very often because in the first season or something like that after they were trying to follow regulations that he wasn't supposed to be on the set with a gun or using a gun. His older self had a sniper rifle but he wasn't allowed very many weapons. So he had butter knives and axes at some point and I think I saw him carrying a gun at one point but it was much later when he was a lot older in the real world you got to remember that it's three seasons in for us 3 years so whatever else he really was I think he's like 14 or 15 at the time I think he's of age now to be able to hold again while filming so you know it makes more sense now that he's an assassin so I'm saying.
