Just to say thanks for the recommendations -- your videos actually come up with great-looking games that not everyone is raving about! So thanks for hidden gems that really are hidden. Great videos :)

Thank you, I really appreciate it. A big part of the reason I set up the channel was to help people find some games that deserve attention but never get any marketing. Thanks again, and you're very welcome at the channel!

"High security flea prison" is such a great line. My wishlist is going to be unmanageable once I've caught up with this channel.

It seems like you would like "Cyber Shadow", "Katana Zero" and "Touhou Luna Nights"!

Cyber Shadow is excellent. I haven't tried the other two, but I'll certainly take a look - thank you!

So happy I found your channel, your recommendations are much needed given how modern games almost killed the magic for me (born in 88). I am literally going to buy Foregone for my steam deck right now! Might even grab Battle Axe as well, so thank you for the video. Liked and subscribed.

They all look great, and I can attest the messenger is solid gold. And yeah, the convos with the shopkeeper were a riot!

Yeah, I love The Messenger. It's great to go back to basics and make gameplay king again. Thanks for watching!

Thanks a lot for these kind of videos - I own so many indy games on PS5 but some of your suggestions I never heard of. And they are really great.

Always held off on battle axe as like you said it was relatively short but now you can can get the Bitmap Bureau Collection which includes Xeno crisis, Battle axe and Final vendetta so I'll be picking that up soon physically for the switch!

That's a great collection - good choice. Some excellent pixel art across the board there and rock-solid games.

Your channel is great bud. I love the try these arcade games series. We all love big ass AAA games but often gems get missed. Ur channel shows games i would otherwise miss. Please keep up the arcade games lists they are awesome and its saves us time trawling threw crap 😂

Hello! I really appreciate it, thank you. A big part of the reason I set up the channel was to help uncover the games that get buried by the AAAs, and there are loads of them, many of which will cost you practically nothing. Thanks again - and welcome to the channel!

Not A Hero and Super Time Force Ultra are both well worth a look too :-)

If you saw a ninja during the day you wouldn't recognize them because they'd look like a 4'11" 15th century feudal Japanese farmer. Because that was their usual job and cover story. If you saw them at night, yeah they were there to kill you and burn down the castle. And it probably just looked like some little guy with a girded commoner's kimono, quiet padded sandals, and a handful of specialized tools such as iron climbing spikes. The portrayal of ninjas we know today comes from 19th century dramatic retellings of centuries-old legends, even further rule-of-cool'ed into modern mishmash.

Love Aggelos! But really wish Foregone had a physical release and boy oh boy trying to 100% Iconoclasts is hard work but cant put it down and definitely dont be a spanner and play this half cut 😂😂
@Video_Games_Forever4 ай бұрын
Iconoclasts definitely stands out from the crowd with its approach. It's quite refreshing for a platformer and very addictive. Do not attempt some of the puzzles after a few beers!

It turns out that I missed Foregone because it has the souls-like tag, which is usually a hard pass for me. The combat doesn't look that punishing here, though admittedly it's just a small sample. How fitting is that tag really?
@Video_Games_Forever9 ай бұрын
Hey! This is nowhere near as difficult as the traditional Souls games, I promise you. Foregone has quite a gentle difficulty curve, giving you plenty of time to build your skills and arsenal before you come up against any real challenge. I'd thoroughly recommend it to action-platformer fans more than anything else.

Iconoclast broke my heart. The art is gorgeous and the play is fun but the further you go the more insufferable and hypocritical ALL the characters (and i do mean all) get. I got all the way to the final boss run and i unistalled the game and looked up the ending...

The story's surprising, isn't it? I didn't think it was going to get as heavy as it did.
