The price for pastries seems to explain why Korean You Tube Pastry dedicated Channels & Blogs are so good.

Well, I don’t know what are the cheaper comparison-countries but cake and coffee here in German cafes are hella expensive. I pay 5-7€ for a coffee speciality and ~5€ for cake. All of Northern Europe, Swiss, and typical tourist destinations like Paris, London, Rome, Venice, etc are even more expensive. The fruit prices are super cheap here though 😄 Cherry Season: 100gr for 29-49cents. Strawberries: 500gr for 2,99 Small whole watermelon:2-4€. Grapes:500gr 1,99 (Weakly proces I pay at supermarkets)

Hi, I have been watching your videos and find them so informative! Thank you so much for sharing! I'm sad to hear about the expensive fruits in Korea as I love fruits. I was so looking forward to buy Korean strawberries in December. Are local produce also expensive? Am I mistaken to think that Korea also produce apples? Thank you.

Hello~^^ nice to see you and I am so glad to know that you have been watching my videos. 😊 😊 Thank you:) Oh you are coming to Korea soon?? Fruits can be expensive but strawberries are really good here so hope you will try them:) We have local strawberries 🍓 and Korean strawberries are very sweet and delicious and the prices are not that expensive for them^^! And you are right! We produce apples, too but the total amount is on the decline!

@@Korea_expert Thank you for your reply! ❤ My family is currently vacationing in Korea 😊 We started in Busan, then visited Suncheon (where we tried Korean strawberries - so juicy and sweet 😋) and now we are in Seoul. Thank you so much for the tips to go for the Seoul Festa. We were initially going to visit those places in the daytime. We will do so at night instead. Thank you for sharing that ice skating and sledding are fun too. We plan to bring our kids for those activities too 😄 Wishing you a warm and lovely Christmas and New Year 🥰

Where I live in south USA, state of Mississippi apples are like $2.00 each. Ground Beef is $8.00 a pound. We do have Korean Beef here and it is like $200-$1,000 a pound, some places it is $3,000-$5,000 a pounds. Woohoo. Bakery cakes are crazy. Last time I got one in 2016 it was $650 and that was cheap cause a friend made it and gave us a discount. Now if you want cheap grocery store deli cakes they are like $20 each but taste bad. I just bought a quart of milk and it was $8.00. A gallon of the cheap stuff is $6-9 a gallon. I think food all over the world has gone way up. Funny I hear how expensive Korea is but it does not seem that too far out there. Like here you can get a 2 bedroom apartment cheap for $1,450 a month. To move in you need first and last months rent plus $1,000 deposit. So $3,000 to move in to a small cheap apartment. I do live on the coast also so prices are a little higher here.

Hello again, Angel.i have a question.where is a convenient place to stay on my last 2 nights as far as ease in getting to incheon airport .any help would be appreciated. Thank you 😇
@Korea_expert5 ай бұрын
Hi Carlo:) so you have to book two more nights! In that case, Hongdae or Gongdeok area would be fine since you can take the airport express train from those two:) Hongdae would be very vibrant and Gongdeok would be more local and quieter:)!

i hate the way they package apples and charge you that ridiculous price. 5 apples... i don't even know if i'll eat them all before they go bad. all non korean dishes are overpriced and do not taste the same. i've once seen a mango at lotte mart. it's price tag was 35k won and that was years ago.

Hello:) nice to see you and thanks for your comment! Yes, the imported mango is still expensive in Korea😹😹

Very informational. Few of these are not as expensive in Sweden as in Korea.😮 But it was a lot of white noise in the background from the microphone.

Hello:) thanks for your comment ^^ I have been to Sweden and I could see that many things are quite expensive 😸 As for the white noise, we will try to figure out what could have gone wrong! Thanks ^^!
