Hugh Dellar is a really charismatic speaker no matter what he is talking about. What is more, his speech is extremely useful.

Many thanks to a renowned tutor. I' ve heard a lot about lexical approach as it is highly popular nowadays among teachers who passed CELTA AND DELTA. It was the first time I was listening to his presentation. Surprisingly,I ' ve applied some ideas immediately in my lesson after the stream. I was impressed that even a pupil with so to say poor language managed to come up with his own ideas and examples how to expand given collocations. Thanks again for this opportunity to start teaching knowing some facts about popular lexical approach.

Thank you! It was extremely useful. During my teaching experience, something from lexical approuch came naturally to me. For some time recently I've started thinking that we really need more focus on vocab and chanks then on drilling grammar.

Many thanks to Hugh Della for really useful video and information! I am sure that lexical approach can improve progress in class! As for me, in class I have had a very shy S., who had some gaps in grammar, etc, and after I implied in my class the lexical method + Hugh Della's valuable recommendation to give only useful lexics, my shy students got interested in my English class. Outcomes are still useful, though it is good as the course is not available no in the RF, the outcomes 'll be that fsb connected evil people would without this vital textbook would certainly speak bad English! But that serves them right and they are on their own good!

Apply the method in my class. Not “imply in my class the method”.

to teach like this one needs to be a native speaker. Teach basic grammar and a bunch of words to jungle with is easier and faster than to teach real English.

Recently I had a discussion with Hugh Dellar about the war in Ukraine and I was shocked by his biased opinion on the topic. It's was quite unexpected to get such reaction from the educated intellectual. I guess not all teachers are teacher, some of them are preachers.
