I have a local joint modeled after a 50s diner through the years 1900 to about 1980. They serve all sorts of food and ice cream too,but the burgers are so delicious, fresh and cost 5 to 6 dollars. Support local always.

Ounces and Type of beef for each patty: #1 - Shake Shack = 4 oz…100% Angus Beef #2 - Five Guys = 3.3 oz…Sirloin & Chuck #3 - Culver’s = 2.75 oz…Sirloin & Chuck #4 - Freddy's = 2.66 oz...Lean Ground Beef #5 - In-N-Out = 2 oz…Chuck (Basic) - They're all about the toppings and sauce, NOT the Beef ... @@AstroBimpsonI can agree that the quality of their ingredients is pretty good, but it’s still by far the worst burger experience I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve never had a burger fall apart in my hands while I’m eating it until I tried five guys, and it happened two different times at different locations. And I’m talking about the bun literally breaking apart in my hands and the veggies falling through the bottom of the burger. Unbelievably overrated food 😂

Does RR still offer unlimited broccoli as an alternative? I like fries but they are about the worst food you can eat. The burger world convinced everyone to eat them because they are filling and make you think you got more food than you really received and potatoes are extremely cheap. Fries are extremely profitable for the restaurants.

For Five Guys, you don't want to be putting all those wet ingredients in the burger (like the tomato I saw) due to the type of buns they use In the future, you might want to try this Five Guys burger: Bacon Cheeseburger Grilled Onions Ketchup Lettuce (that's it) Should not be soggy and should taste a lot better (if unbiased)

A restaurant burger also gets more points for the environment. For a more "special occasion" like a birthday or date, you'd probably choose a restaurant than a fast food joint and also choose to eat in. The dine in experience is part of what you're paying for.

Texas Roadhouse makes all their food fresh and really have good service, at least the ones I have been to. They make their fantastic rolls fresh and are always still warm when they bring them to your table, the cinnamon butter takes them to another level. Imo they make the best rolls I have ever had in a restaurant. As for the fries, I prefer them to not be so thick to. But it's a steakhouse so it makes sense that they serve steak fries. If you were served soggy fries when dining inside they would have remade them the way you wanted, i.e. crispy. Both burgers looked really good, but $13 for just the 5 guys burger is ridiculous.

Sho, your reviews are always accurate and reliable but the ONLY thing I have ever disagreed with you is your five guys argument. At least in my area, it’s reasonably priced, and the only thing not good about the burger is it’s missing salt and pepper. Maybe Canadian locations are just better?

I tried 5 guys and was very disappointed because the burger meat dissociated too quickly. It was almost like eating a sloppy joe but without the sauce. I like my burgers a lot more firm.
