What's the difference between volumes 1-3? I looked at the site and it states ages 5-9 for all volumes. My son just turned 7 but he reads at a 2nd-3rd grade level. I'm kind of confused about the volumes. Thank you!

The difference are the books you read. This is a literature based unit study program. You will have different activities to choose from for each book you read together. Hope that makes sense. I read these books out loud. If she wants to help me read them, then we do “buddy reading”.

I started with Abeka when they were little but I didn't stick with it very long. Knowing what your mission and values are in your homeschool can help you pick out the best direction you should go. I am going to be doing some videos/challenges to help moms write out their mission plan.
