I don't care how little-known these guys are. These songs are timeless and it's impossible to over-play them.

My brother in law introduced me to this band back in the early 2000s with The End is Here album, when I was still just dating his sister. I was a new christian who loved music, and I told him I whish I knew more good christian music. Dallas, TX had 89.7 Power FM at that time, which was more my speed than what most christian radio stations played, but I was missing Ska! This was at the height of bands like Sublime and Reel Big Fish. As an Alto, Tenor, and Bari saxophones player in both the concert and jazz bands, I needed something to fill that need, and boy did F.I.F.! Your band was a huge blessing to me in my walk, and still is even now as I've introduced my sons to your music.

One of the most spiritually moving images/parallels I’ve heard, has been so since I first heard it the year it came out. AND it’s catchy.

Oh boy this is another one. So this song has always been precious to me long before I had children. After kids, I can barely listen to this song anymore because I'm usually a blubbering mess by the time it's over. It gives me renewed tenderness toward my kids. What a perfect analogy for how God sees his children. These words speak life. Love you guys.

While I'm adamantly not religious, there's a particular warmth found in FIF's music, even with their songs that are more religious. There's a certain comfort with this song, like a blanket during autumn when the whether starts to get cold, and a universal love which, no matter which religion you believe in (or lack thereof), you can take comfort in as a tribute to love That and they're good musicians, the instrumentation during the chorus is beautiful and probably my favorite instrumental of any FIF song

This is a song I listened to growing up. But unlike a lot of other music I listened to this song stayed with me. The imagery in this song is so simple but so beautiful and it is possibly the best way I have found to put love into words. The part at the end about the father has always seemed especially beautiful. My dad passed when I was 9 so I didnt know him very well but when I hear that part I feel it so deeply that I cant describe it. Thank you for this song and the music that you gave us. It means more than you know
