Hi there. I am a bit confused, isn't fluid dynamics solved by CFD sofware? (ANSYS CFX, FloEfd, etc.)?

Yes. But there are many similarities between CFD and FEA software. They solve for different equations and different physics, but the underlying techniques for solutions are very similar. So many of the best practices from FEA also apply to CFD.
