Dee Hargert painted my screens in edgewater, md for my house. A young couple was walking down the street and pointed to my screens and said you must be from Baltimore. I said yes. A small world 😊

I remember so well walking to his store with my grand Mother ..she had a painted screen where she would sit after her long house work days she also had marble steps that I scrubbed with Octagon bar Soap and a scrub brush. Oktavec once he had his art store established all those making their first Communion would go to his lovely store set up with fern, pedestal and lovely picture had our picture in our communion clothes still have mine : ))
