For today’s Five Minute Histories video, we are inside Jenkins House, now occupied by the Women’s Housing Coalition. Over the 175-year history of this mansion, it has been used as a residence, a convent, an orphanage and a school. We are pleased to be joined by Beth Benner, Executive Director of the Women’s Housing Coalition, to tell us how this great organization works to make homelessness rare and brief. Thanks for watching and see you next week with another video.
This is our series called "Five Minute Histories." Every week, we’ll record a short video about a different historic place in Baltimore and post it on our Facebook page and KZbin channel.
