This movie feels like it managed to achieve the perfect combination of cool story, decent amount of jumpscares, twists that keep you really invested in it and to top it all off, a good deal of wholesome moments too. Mike and Abby had such a beautiful relationship as siblings, even in the first part of the movie when they were struggling to communicate. We can see just how much he cares about his little sister but also how much of that care is fear of losing her, just like he lost his brother. Vanessa turning out to be the killer's daughter was a really "whoaaa!" moment. Seeing just how fucked up the killer was, controlling the spirits of his victims, making them commit such atrocities, that alone added another layer of psychological distress to the horror elements of the movie. Mike somehow managing to always be at fault, seeing people lash at him so much, makes you feel so bad about him. You pointed out really well, Magy, how he was basically dealt not just a bad hand of cards but an entire bad life as a result of all that childhood trauma. The moral of the story, Mike learning to let the past rest and focus on the present, taking care of Abby and being there for Vanessa when she wakes up from the coma, it was delivered perfectly to the audience. The scenes with the toys were scary when the situation demanded it but on certain occasions, we could see the playful nature of the spirits, how they just wanted a friend, company, to play with, when not influenced by the killer. All of them building a fort together was especially wholesome, albeit a bit odd because we know just how dangerous the toys are. Finding out the bodies are actually stuffed inside the toys...that was a sickening scene, making you really hate the killer. Thank you for the amazin reaction, Magy ❤

It's interesting you called out the absolute psycho nature of William Afton. In the games, he does a lot of the same stuff, but if you read into the true story he's a lot more of a tragic figure than he is in the movie. In the games, we see more of who he was before all of this, and what drove him to this in the first place. To simplify, in the games, his is a story of obsession. In 1983 his own son died. This shattered him as a person and he became a drunk. One night, he was driving by Fredbear's Family Diner (an early version of the Pizzeria) and, drunk and angry, lashed out against a young girl in the alleyway named Charlie Emily, killing her. She went on to possess an animatronic known as the Puppet (which is not in this movie). Presumably, William realized Charlie had possessed that animatronic and wanted to learn how the power of possession worked, so that he could bring his own son back to life. His murders were because he wanted them to possess the robots, so he could understand. I should note that a lot of this is fan theories and the order of events is not entirely fixed. Edit: Also, you should know that the reason William said "I always come back" is not just a sequel tease, it is also his catchphrase from the games. It was a big moment for fans of the frachise when he said that. The Balloon Boy toy is another sequel tease. In the games, Balloon Boy is a minor antagonist from the second game, and the movie shows that this one is definetly possessed in some way as it moves around independently, but does not attack.

Never played the game either but saw the movie and loved it. This stars the actor of Pita from the Hunger Games movies and the one that highered him and ends up being not what he seemed is the actor of Stu from the first Scream movie which is cool. Grate reaction as always Mary. What I do know is that Baloon boy as he has been called is in the games but he doesn't kill people is is just the distraction. That is the one that kept showing up in his locker and scaring him and in the end shows up in the taxi saying come find me. I think they are planning to do a sequal to this movie so it would be interesting to see what they come up with this time.

So, for context as to why you are able to watch Five Night’s At Freddie’s so soon is because when this movie was about to start production, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse made a deal with Peacock that it would be streaming on that service and in theaters at the same time. Peacock paid $40 million for that opportunity and with the movie only costing $25 million to make and the movie making $80 million in the U.S. and Canada and $133 million globally, this movie is already at a profit. Peacock is only available in the U.S. and I do plan on seeing this tomorrow for Halloween so I will definitely give your reaction a watch after I see it. I'm suprised you're watching this without Laura. By the way if you wanna mess her up (and yourself as well) you should watch Irreversible by Gaspar Noè (the 2002 original cut of course since this is the way the movie is supposed to be watched and not the straight cut from 2020 although I have to be honest and admit I could not bring myself to watch the straight cut yet one year after watching the OG cut for the first time. All I know is that the straight cut robbs the movie of It's uniquness I would say.). It's not a movie you should watch alone. It's not gory (much) or scary but it is truly F'ed up. Then again I guess you don't take KZbin comment section requests so you're gonna get away unscarred from this mad movie. If however you're ever going to watch it don't do it alone.

I've been a fan of the game since 2014. I was kind of disappointed by the movie because I'm a film degree graduate myself and this was movie had a lot of flaws. As a FNAF movie for fans though, it did a pretty decent job for adapting the lore. Very happy that we're getting a second movie so that they can hopefully do a better job and give Markiplier the role that he deserves for a FNAF movie. Hopefully they give him a more important one than the security guard at the very beginning. Although that also still would have been cool to see regardless.
