1. Fun fact, in the games, who mike is/how he's related to all this, is quite different. While in the movie, Vanessa's William's child, in the games it's actually Mike and his siblings who are William's kids. Meanwhile Vanessa doesn't come into the picture until much later in the games lore, and plays a much different role/has a very different connection to William 2. Some further elaboration, if you want, on the "springlocks"; essentially, they were implemented in the very first animatronics, at another location, seperate from Freddy's called "Fredbear's Family Diner", the first ever Freddy's location, and essentially, the springlocks allowed animatronics there to have 2 purposes; either be used as a suit worn by an employee, or be put into use as a standard animatronic. Let's say you want to wear it as a mascot suit. The springlocks inside the suit are essentially attached onto all of the internal suit parts, all of which are obviously taking up space inside of it. So to wear it, you have to decompress/unwind the springlocks, which will pull back the suit parts to the sides of the suit, allowing a human to wear it. And if you just want to have the suit as a standard animatronic, then you obviously just keep the springlocks and suit parts in place. However, there's one major downside to the Springlocks; they're extremely unstable and can very, VERY easily come undone. Just the tiniest amount of moisture falling on the suit, or too much sudden movements by it's occupant, could cause the springlocks to triggure, resulting in the occupant being impaled every which way and murdered by the suit parts and springlocks stabbing into them. In the FNAF books, we actually get a description from William himself as to what it's like having it happen to you, with him describing which of your internal organs are punctured first, and how it results in you drowning in your own blood 3. Fun fact, how William "dies" plays out quite differently in the games. In the movie, William is springlocked in the suit in the dining room, while the intact animatronics stand around him and watch. Meanwhile in the games; Essentially, William goes back to the pizzeria after it shut down, probably years after FNAF 1 had already happened, and there, he lured the FNAF 1 animatronics into the backroom, and destroyed them/took them apart. However once he'd took apart all 5 animatronics, the ghost apparitions of the 5 ghost children manifested inside the pizzeria, and hunted William down. They cornered William inside the backroom, and while the other 4 ghosts blocked off the exit, the 5th ghost kid who possessed Golden Freddy (the blonde kid in the film) chased after William. Eventually, out of fear, and hope that he can try and scare them again, William retreated to where the yellow bunny (spring bonnie, as it's canonically called) suit was in the backroom, and put it on. He laughed, thinking the suit was protecting him, however, due to the restaurant being shut down, water was leaking from the ceilings. And, they triggered the springlocks in the suit. William was then killed, and collapsed into a pool of his own blood in the backrooom, in the suit, while the ghosts vanished
