The Inspiration behind this video:
In April 2015, Warner Bros. Studios announced that a live adaptation of Five Nights At Freddy's was in development, with Gil Kenan set to direct. However, problems soon arose as production faced many setbacks, which was mainly down to the film industry. With it still being stuck in development hell by 2017, Five Nights At Freddy's eventually moved to Blumhouse Productions, with producer Jason Blum announcing that it was now set to be directed by Christopher Columbus and written by Scott Cawthon.
Unfortunately, production on the Five Nights At Freddy's movie faced even more delays after Cawthon announced he was redrafting the script, and then Columbus left the project in 2021. Luckily, the team managed to find another director quickly as Blum announced in October 2022 that Emma Tammi would now helm the project and help Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback co-write the script (via The Hollywood Reporter).

I had the same thought. After all, William Afton is also seen at the beginning of the trailer. There’s no way they can both have regular William and Springtrap in the movie without showing that scene. Not sure if it’ll happen on or off-screen but it’ll definitely be implied somehow. I have a feeling Scott incorporated as many of the iconic historical moments of fnaf into this one movie to connect the timeline together for us but managed to do in a way that won’t make it feel too bloated with plot.

I'm praying that this movie will be good, I mean, Scott wrote it so I can only hope that it's good and makes sense with either the Lore of the actual games, or it's a side story that takes place in the universe like the Fazbear Frights books. Seeing Springtrap worries me a little since I see little reason to why he's there unless we see the Springlock failure which I don't think we will giving the movie is PG-13 unless they stupidly censored it. I just hope it has a good plot and was worth the wait.

The main difference between PG-13 and R rated horror is whether it cuts away on impact. Springlock failure would look visually terrifying, but isn't high on gore. A suit jerks violently and blood pools out. I am mostly interested in how far the lore goes. It definitely seems to be drawing more from the games than books, but there are some things (like the fight in the mall fountain at 1:20) that make no sense in either storyline, so it's going to be expanded. The biggest optimism for me is how long they took to make it. This wasn't rushed to meet the hype, but it was clear that the people involved really went all in on the lore and story, instead of making a generic horror and throwing the animatronics in.

Probably that is just a Old Springbonnie suit, and is Afton killin a guard at the beginng of the movie, then at the end we will see the springlock thing and a postcredit scene of springtrap waking up

Imo I HIGHLY doubt it will be one of the best video game adaptations. That would make more sense for Mario (the animated movie), Sonic (live action movie), Pokemon (live action), etc. Honestly this will either be a slightly good/entertaining movie, an okay one, or just plain bad/cringe. I don't really see it being that good tbh. Could be wrong but that's just how I predict it.
