Very late I know, but just watched this again in a fit nostalgia and watching it again has made me truly appreciate this animation and overall art direction for this series. A truly original take of Scott cawthons idea. However, my only problem lies in the depiction and overall delivery of spring trap himself, his design is cool but not as original as the world he’s been placed into, his lines feel shallow (granted feeling how little he speaks) but he lacks much of a crazy impact or identity other than “hey that’s spring trap” but a different take, maybe that’s what the creators wanted but; it feels like a major missed opportunity. That’s just my first opinion after watching only this and the second episode, so maybe that’ll change. I’m hopeful it will.
