People hate on this scene for not being as graphic and brutal as they wanted it to be, but I think it's a perfect way to do the springlock scene. Remember, the damage happens on the inside and it takes time for all the blood to soak into the suit. And how would they even fit a camera in to show Afton being crushed?

It makes less of an impact because you barely know who he is and haven't gotten a chance to see what he's even capable of (unless you're already a fan before seeing the movie). If they saved it for the sequel, it would've hit 100 times harder (and made more sense to everyone)

Met Matthew Lillard at Comic Con just this past April. Man he was a genuine soul. While I was in line with about 85 other people, a young lady was having a claustrophobia related panic attack. Matthew got up from his desk and helped her relax.

It was crazy walking into the theater and watching my childhood make it to the big screen tbh. I remember when the trailer first dropped, I was SCREAMING to my friends about it. I know the second movie will be better, too, judging from the behind the scenes we've already got and the new teaser poster, I have a feeling they're gonna do some justice. I think they said something about how they want to add things in that the first film lacked, which tells me it'll be promising.
