What always gets me about people that whine about this series is that one of the biggest complaints is "THERES TOO MANY OF THEM! THEYRE MILKING IT SO HARD!!!111". Those same people however never seem to whine about the newest Final Fantasy, the newest Zelda, the newest... whatever. In any series where the number of games has been in the double digits for a really, really long time now. Those are never milking though, nope. Just very specific series that get focused on for whatever baffling reason. I've never understood this. I'm not sure I want to understand. And THIS series? There's FIVE of them. .....just five. That's IT. This isnt like the 15th blasted Final Fantasy or others that have run for even longer. Five. I mean, really? Sigh....

hbthebattle Ugh, it's always reasons like that. Seems silly to me. Zelda has been the same damn formula over...and over... and over.... since Ocarina of Time. They get a slightly different coat of paint every now and then (always in the form of gimmicks) but that's about it. FF has always had the same bloody boring and shallow battle system and general game flow up until only the most recent games, and even the recent ones have now devolved into certain trends (AKA being a giant pile of cutscenes). That's the thing with any game series: aside from spinoffs, one thing you DO NOT DO is switch things up too much unless you absolutely must. That's why something like Zelda, regardless of gimmicks, has always been about exploring the overworld to find dungeons, going into those dungeons, finding a power item, and then solving puzzles specifically based on that item. Over and over. The gimmick changes from game to game, but the core never does. And on the occaision when it IS time to do that big change (usually only when the developer/publisher feels they have no choice), typically it's done, and then the dev will stick with that as the new norm. Repetition begins once again. Seriously, this is a major part of how the industry works. Repetition is always there. There are exceptions (like Kirby) but these are very rare. I suspect one major reason is that those games are flashy and full of "wow factor", and that they've been entrenched for an incredibly long time. A game like this one though, being made by ONE guy with a quirky style, is none of those things. Particularly when it comes to graphics. Much to my neverending dismay, that is often the deciding factor in ALOT of things in this blasted industry these days. ...also the fanbase for this game, batshit insane as it is, doesnt help. Also "taking longer" is a damn silly reason to me. No developer with more than three functioning braincells spends longer on a game than is absolutely necessary. If it's genuinely possible to complete a game within two months, they'll do it within two months. Even the big guys know the importance of this idea. Granted, good reason or not, people really do look at it that way, dont they. Sigh...

Misery Can you really say every Zelda or FF really feels the same? Look at X to XII or XIII to XV; all entirely different battle systems. Even older games had completely new ways of getting abilities, And as for Zelda- no 2 Zelda games are alike. Yes, they all explore dungeons, but no dungeon is even remotely similar on the inside to other games's But FNAF's gameplay doesnt change or develop very much from game to game, which is why it gets more hate.

You're right. I don't care. Because the way this Scott-fella operates is too bizarre. He churns out 4 games within 365 days, sometimes incomplete. And even when FNAF 5 was ready to come out, Scott thought of delaying more months because he thought it was "too scary". Does he not know the amount of horror games out there? I doubt FNAF 5 could topple the likes of Clock Tower, Silent Hill 2, Resi Remake, Fatal Frame II or Outlast. And if Warner Brothers make a FNAF movie happen, then the series will officially be Angry Birds level of tired.

Well it goes for all games! Like mario party,mario kart,fifa,madden,nba and every racing game! Plus guitar hero game! basically every game gets repetitive! However i find it funny that through the years FNAF has been so popular! Haters can't stop talking about it lolz and the fans like it! I actually think FNAF is pretty amazing because 1. scott made this by himself and made it different than his usual games! This has gotten him so popular 2. FNAF is a indie game and surprisingly it's one game that manages to stick out! It's not a million dollar company it's one guy! 3. Scott is my favorite developer! He trolls his fans! Zero Zoroark To be honest the game is just above average yeah it is scary but not horrifying. A horror game is a game that will make you don't want to sleep anymore a horror game is also a game that doesn't relying too much on jumpscare but rather the atmosphere (Example:Alien Isolation, Outlast, Amnesia,...) you never get scared by the environment in the game. You get scared because of a sudden image pop up on your screen. I love FNAF1 and I don't blindly hating the game like others did however the recent FNAF games disappointed me. Scott needs to do BETTER!
