Sorry for the video starting weirdly, having the night start screen cut off. This was from issues with OBS and I would never choose to do this. Every other game I have beaten with a video is always with some start screen with the mode after and I would never splice runs or fake them as that is not who I am. Long, I know, but is needed for explanation.
This mode was a very mixed bag. In some cases, it was the most fun and challenging game to play for me and then other times luck overcame some of the mode making it one of the most grueling things I have ever done in a LONG time. When you have a good run on this mode, it is super fun and I always throughly enjoyed an attempt despite my want to get it over with. Updates for the game might come in the future to address these issues so I will not touch on it until that is dealt with for now.
That is all I have to say. You can do whatever you want now.

I love love love seeing your reaction at the end through your mouse movements. You can really tell that you put your all into this challenge, and I thank you for going through this. About the balance update: to be honest, it probably would’ve been done by now if I wasn’t so preoccupied with my friend group’s Minecraft server. I’ll try to have it out in a timely manner so you can get back to playing my game, and it’ll be a huge flex to be able to put (PRE-PATCH) in this video’s title! Keep up the great work!

Never had someone actually mention my mouse movements for my reaction so that made me happier than I thought. :) I tried my best, and I thank YOU for making something super enjoyable despite how much this challenge put me through. No stress about the balance update, I do not mind! :D I would rather you focus on yourself rather than the update but I thank you for actually going through with it as I did not necessarily expect you to. I might have more changes to suggest but I will just see what ones you do and go from there. :) Thank you! :D

what would the balance update do? i saw Rykan mention in the fnwtb+ comments about increasing Blake's timer a bit which i do agree with, there'a been a lot of times i was just a second or two off from getting to him. perhaps if Luke is active, Blake's timer could be temporarily paused or somethin, i dunmo

@@surv5k it’d increase Blake’s timer by a little bit, make the static from Talisa take a little less time to clear, and nerf the camera static from the Foggy? modifier a little bit. probably some other things too but those are the main three

I would be paid if this was a job but it turns out the enemies are trying to get paid by stealing from me, though they get side-tracked, clearly.

the protagonist in this game certainly needs that extra money to pay for a therapist after going through this hellish mode 😅

@@rykan27 jeeez, how long did this take you?! i poured in over 80 tries on true max mode and my pb is still 4am lol true max is definitely within reach for you, this run is not that far off from the difficulty of true max, you got this

About a week I am pretty sure, maybe a little less than that but it felt LONG. I might not be touching True Max until some updates go through for balancing since as it stands, I feel some things are a little harsh and paired with some of the luck with certain things along with how harsh the foggy challenge is, it simply seems like a miracle if anyone got past 4AM. Does not mean I will entirely disregard it, I may try it a little but DEFINITELY not as much as this.

Thanks! :D I would say it would be like that for a while unless something is found, but I think where we are at is what we will get. Would be interesting to see if pre-patch would be kept for the sake of this but I doubt that.
