We went for breakfast and felt similarly to you. It was ok but not great. I really enjoyed the cornmeal pancake. The country fried steak was bad to the point of being nearly inedible to me (which is really saying something because I love almost any country fried steak). It was very salty and tough. I think I ended up giving it to my husband to eat. I sampled from his plate too and nothing was really stand out there either. The restaurant is pretty. Our meals were large, but they were expensive.
