We made a 2 hour drive to try Wood Grill and none of us were disappointed. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated like family. The buffet was fully stocked and piping hot. Our drinks were kept full and staff was amazing. Different experience from what you describe!!!!

Super great staff, the only downside we experienced and reported was the food quality, and I did think it could use a bit of updating and a lot of lights were out. Not sure what. Staff was great.

We gave Wood Grill two chances on two different visits to Pigeon Forge. We found the buffet line and the dining area messy. There was nothing that stood out and we thought it was expensive for what we got. Like you, I don't think we'll be back! Thanks for your honest review.

We were there on vacation this summer. Wondered why hardly any cars in parking lot! We went for breakfast. The staff and service was great! (The floors and table was sticky then too!) The food was exactly what you said...cafeteria food. We ate in some amazing restaurants down there but would not go back here. 🫤

Have you been to the Inn at Christmas Place breakfast buffet? You can eat there even if you're not staying at the inn.My wife said it was excellent when she and her friend stayed there last October.

I have stayed there with friends. There used to be a restaurant across the street next to the shops. Partridge and pear, I think was the name. It was spectacular. They closed down years ago. We were bummed as we loved that establishment. One time we had lunch and dinner there. Hope it is still good on my next visit.

I was there a few years ago. It was okay. If I ever am in Pigeon Forge again I’ll probably go again. I’ll get some pulled pork and Texas toast. And a bunch of taco meat with all the fixings. Ice cream and sprinkles for dessert. Maybe some collard greens gotta have your greens with every meal.

Most buffets have the issue of not keeping the food warm enough. For me getting it on the plate and to the table hot is more than half the battle. Tepid or cold food is a non starter. That is the main reason the wife and I stopped going to buffets other than at certain hotels and Casinos. We haven't been to a Golden Corral in 10 years...But thanks for spending the money and time and trying this place out. You guys are greatly appreciated..

Wood Fired Grill Everything looked appetizing. Off Jens plate the white mac-n-cheese looked so good. Shrimp The pulled pork looked fantastic. The collard greens looked good. Too much salt. Rich his plate looked good. The meats looked good! Ribs, sirloin, teriyaki chicken looked good. So sorry you caught them probably on an off night. But yes Jen resteraunt needs revamping and a new menu. Glad Golden Corral here I èvansville is totally revamped and the food is so good. Love their salad bar. Meats, starches, vegetables and desserts. Still. Think the BANANA PUDDING the best dessert even though I do like pies and cakes!!!!

I feel like I know y'all really well and to hear comments like "it's not bad" speaks volumes for me. One thing I have learned in my old age is I'm always gonna have a whole plate of mashed potatoes and gravy at a buffet *not kidding* but there I would have tried chicken livers, pot roast and mac and cheese and Rich's spaghetti. Maybe 2 plates of mashed at this place haha.

I really enjoy Wood Grill! I know it gets a bad reviews but I don’t think people really give it a chance like start with their salad bar! It’s really good and fresh! My only complaint is sometimes they don’t always have everything labeled correctly!

Love all your videos, don’t have a single problem on how you hold your utensils 😂. I really appreciate your reviews when you go some where and you are not particularly impressed with the place , yet you don’t slam them. You are honest and that is what makes me continue to follow you guys . It’s a shame, the food looked fantastic, but you’re right, it could use an update, and no excuse for having sticky floors, especially in a restaurant! Also no excuse for frozen desserts, especially if they’re a buffet! I guess I expect the same standards as an Amish style buffet restaurant!

The green points on top way it's located is way I remembered it. Not everything is good, at least you were honest and not mean spirited at all. Atmosphere is important, and sticky floors are disgusting. Makes you wonder what the kitchen is like. Hopefully you didn't get sick. If food is not kept warm properly that is a huge problem.
